I just found these under my calathea. I bottom watered it earlier this week, being sure to get rid of excess water in the tray. I’m not really sure what to do next. Is this bad for my plant?! I am at loss for words 😟

Question about the location for my money tree. My husband got me a money tree about two weeks ago, and the only spot I have for right now is in our bedroom, however, it only gets light in the afternoon/ evening as the window is west facing. According to Planta, it is too dark of a space, but it’s been there for over a week and I don’t see any signs of it being in distress as of yet . I watered it once I brought it home because the soil was extremely dry, but that’s the only watering I’ve done so far. Just hoping to get a few opinions on whether this location would be OK for it or if I need to find a brighter location TIA!!

Tacoma Dome Home + Garden show had a big selection of house/ indoor plants. One place had a huge selection of cacti and desert type plants. I scored some really cool rare ceropegia from them. And seattle plant daddy was there, as well as several others. Emerald city Orchids has some great selection, i can't believe how many orchids they had packed into the tiny place they rented lol. Its on for the rest of the weekend. They also have exhibitions as well on different things. I saw one on succulents tomorrow and a few other things

I’m wanting to have a cut flower garden this year. Any suggestions? So far I’ve only done house plants so this will be new for me

Does anybody know a reputable place to get USA native bamboo rhizomes? I'm thinking of growing some on my balcony when I move to Las Vegas.

Hi! I'm new, it's not my first time gardening or anything but I do got some issues remembering my schedule at times lol. Looking forward to starting this years garden. Currently I only have a few green onions and rosemary growing in my windowsill but once the temperatures here get out of the freezing range I plan on planting my garden for the last time. I'll be moving around September so this will be my last growing season in my hometown.

Starting to rethink buying this plant because I'm such a novice with house plants :( I've been moving this plant around to make sure it gets enough light - moved to front of house but noticed the leaves are cracking. I water every couple weeks and have been misting and today put a humidifier near by. Any suggestions to turns things around here?

Hi! I’m new to plants but managed to propagate my string of hearts in this tiny box. When should I take it out? I have a shelf with a grow light, I was thinking of moving it there but don’t know when to do that.

"You're wrong, I love all my plants equally!" I scream, petting the leaves of my Philodendron "Hope" as my Calathea rots on the shelf behind me...

Every time I step outside I come back with a plant đŸ«ŁđŸŒ± in my defence it looked sad and very neglected in the shop. I named him Jerry 😅 It think he’s a Musa, he has roots coming out the drain holes, spots and cuts on his leaves but he does have a new leaf uncurling so I hope he recovers đŸ€ž

Is my cast iron plant too far gone? I used another app to diagnose my plant and it suggested it has root rot due to overwatering
I am most definitely not, I keep forgetting to water him. I do have him in a self-watering pot. Could that be a problem? Could drought be the problem? The app also mentioned a fungal infection causing the brown leaves and suggested pruning them. Do I take the whole stalk or just from where it broadens to the leaf? It suggested pruning the wilted leaves as well, same question, from where? Don’t I need some leaves left for photosynthesis? Would a bigger pot, and fertilizer help at all? I don’t want to shock it too much.

Why are the roots fuzzy? đŸ˜© Tradescantia Pallida or Purple Queen?

Do you think this is a sign the plant is getting too big for the pot? The dirt used to be evenly distributed around the pot but now there's a space.

I've had Solene for a month and she's my first peperomia but I've noticed her leaves are pretty bright, less round, and a bit more fuzzy compared to other SOT's. Is there variations of turtles or could this be caused by light/water? I assume she's doing fine from all her happy flowers but I'm not entirely used to this plant 😭
