I just found these under my calathea. I bottom watered it earlier this week, being sure to get rid of excess water in the tray. I’m not really sure what to do next. Is this bad for my plant?! I am at loss for words 😟

they look like mushrooms lol
1 gillaDefinitely mushrooms and they are not a problem. If you don't like them pull them off but they are a sign of healthy soil they feed on decomposing matter leaving nutrition in the soil.
5 gillningarMushrooms are such a big complement to soil as opposed to other fungus omg I can't imagine how nice and earthy it smells 🤤
6 gillningarThe soil is too wet based on the decaying leaf tips, fungus gnats and the ability to grow mushrooms which require constantly moist soil. Check for root rot, mushy smelly roots. You may have to replace the soil. Treat the fungus gnats. Their larvae eat decaying matter like rotting roots.
