Hi! I’m a relatively new plant mom, so I need some advice… should I cut off my pepperomia’s spikes to encourage more leaf growth, or should I just leave them be and let them fall off themselves? She only had like 3 spikes when I got her earlier this month (first pic), but now she has at least 10, and I’m not sure if this will hinder her leaf growth.

I put my plants in a green house in my yard, how do I create that as a site in this app?

Hi, I just got this Ficus or Rubber Plant. Is this long stem without any leaves normal? Any care tips?

Hi! Im trying to figure out what the hell is my humidity like : i live in a basement, all my plant’s soil takes forever to dry and has mold sometimes but my monstera’s leaf and my dieffenbachia tikki show signs of lack of humidity (curling and brown edges). I bought a humidifiers but im scared it will make the soil even more moist/humid. 🙃🙃🙃 cant buy a humidity meter cause I have a budget

I have had this coffee plant for almost five years, and it’s positioned in a bay window that receives afternoon sun. My question is: why is the stem so skinny? I currently use sticks for support. I have trimmed the plant before to encourage growth, but it continues to produce many leaves and grow in height while the stem remains thin. Is this normal for this type of plant, or do you have any advice to help with this issue?

Someone gave me this cutting. Where do I go from here? It's a Philodendron Florida Beauty. I am not familiar with this plant but would like to make sure it grows and stays healthy. Should I put it in soil? Advice please. TIA!

As proud as I am that I’ve kept my red maranta alive for a couple of weeks. I’m so proud of the new leaf that’s unfurling!

I love Tommy Pickles, my Kleinia stapeliiformis 'Pickle Plant'. The growing pattern is so funky. He started as a little straight up guy and then, well, let’s just say he went through a wacky and wild puberty - looking a bit like an undersea plant! Typical adolescent - he was having an identity crisis! He is currently maturing into an interesting young man, assuming the more typical hunched over and downward growth pattern I’ve seen online. I didn’t think I was going to like it because I was pretty fond of the straight up look but I was wrong! I love it!

I’m wanting to repot this part of my Monstera BUT I’m scared I will hurt/damage the plant. I’ve had him for a long time but when I got him I just let him do his thing. And he was everywhere. Now I want him to thrive. Except I’m not sure how to go about making that happen if I start cutting on him. Please help me if not he’s just going to stay like this because I don’t want him to die. Thank you for all you’re helping in advance. Please ignore all the junk under him. The only good thing about I’m hanging over is he kind of hides all the junk lol
