Hi! I’m a relatively new plant mom, so I need some advice… should I cut off my pepperomia’s spikes to encourage more leaf growth, or should I just leave them be and let them fall off themselves? She only had like 3 spikes when I got her earlier this month (first pic), but now she has at least 10, and I’m not sure if this will hinder her leaf growth.

That would be a personal preference but my preference would be to cut them off. Removing the flowers does promote better foliage and since these flowers are not all that attractive why keep them.

I gave her a hair cut, and cut off 12 spikes😳 and she still has a few more that weren’t in a good position for me to cut yet 🤣

I just leave them. They don't seem to inhibit new growth at all.

I think they look amazing with the whole hanging pot scene.
