Someone gave me this cutting. Where do I go from here? It's a Philodendron Florida Beauty. I am not familiar with this plant but would like to make sure it grows and stays healthy. Should I put it in soil? Advice please. TIA!

I got one also in sphagnum moss, I transferred it to moist perlite until the roots were really well established and then transferred to soil. Since then it’s been one of my easiest plants I just let it dry in between waterings. Maybe take it out of the moss to check on how long the roots are and if potting in soil a clear pot is great so you can check on the roots!

1 LikeI can’t fully tell from the photo but if there are no roots at either end of that stem you could trim it for sure! Just leave a little space left on there where the roots are coming out of
0 LikesAnd yes make sure all the roots are under soil as they could dry out
