Have tried to use Dr Planta to diagnose this but I’m not sure I’m getting the right answers. I only got this little one recently but it’s lost about 40% of its leaves, all from around the bottom - first it was too dry and the leaves wilted, now it seems too wet as the leaves are breaking at mushy bits at the base and top of the stem. Still looks ok from the top but the leaves are dropping pretty quickly. Looks like it might be in normal potting mix - should I change that? Or maybe put something on the top of the soil to stop the stems sitting on damp soil? Thanks!

Plant Mommies and Daddies! I finally found the rubber tree I’ve been looking for! A Tineke 🥹 with beautiful cream and green leaves with a touch of pink! She was a bit expensive though ($90 total), but I’m so happy!! 💚✨🪴

Any tips on my VFT? There are two plants. I think one is dead. It caught a few flies, but the mouths didn’t shut. It also looks like I have two new ones coming in. It stayed outside on the front porch most of the summer. I’m worried she got too hot.

This may be a dumb question, but I’ll ask it anyway. When a plant is planted in a plastic pot, but it’s in a ceramic cover pot, do you tell Planta it’s in a plastic pot or a ceramic pot?

I have this fish tank set up to be a bog for some (mostly carnivorous) native plants, however I’m waiting on the plants still. In the meantime the sphagnum moss I used in here has come back to life, and now there’s also a ton of small plants growing in there. Does anybody have any ideas what these “weeds” growing in here are? Also if anybody has recommendations to get the old white staining off the glass that won’t ruin the silicone on the edge, I’ve tried scrubbing with terrarium cleaners from the pet store.

I got this Philodendron Paraiso Verde from a nursery (she's out of quarantine finally) 💫
No obvious issues other than, she cannot stand up in a pot & I'm pretty sure she was growing sideways with these roots all crazy looking lol
