One of my beautiful ladies!
Found a what we thought was one beautiful specimen of a Swiss cheese monstera at a local nursery today. Picked it up for only $20! Got it home and started to move it to its more permanent home and realized we had more like 8-10 separate roots/plants on our hands! Repotted them into 5 separate pots and now we have one for us and 4 to share with friends and family!
Does anyone know what that weird orange colored mold that moves really fast and eats dead insects is called?
Need help with my Coconut orchid. This orchid came to me healthy and beautiful and blooming I had it in a north facing window and decided it was not getting enough sun. I moved it outside. Iâm in Fl zone 9. She is still showing stress. The bulbs have wrinkles. Iâm watering daily and have a humidity tray under her. Any advice is appreciated.
Plant on the top of my wish list!!!! I really want one đ„Č
I got this plant about a week ago from a plant raffle. Does anyone have a clue what it is, Iâve been searching for hours but I donât find anything that looks close.

Iâd say the first day of the Southeast Plant Show was a success đ I made the terrarium and painted the trellis in a couple of little workshops they had going on at the show. (The trellis was plain wood when I started.)
Creature of the day is an American green treefrog hanging out on my mango tree đ„°
Separated these two babyâs! Pulled them from my terrarium yesterday as they werenât doing the best
I would like to grow my own indoor plants from seeds. What indoor plants are good for beginners?
First time repotting today! Not sure if I was a little too aggressive with cutting down the roots. It was a tightly wound mess with little super tangled balls. A lot of the roots were black. I basically kept rinsing and untangling until I was at the very base where I saw strong, dark brown roots and kept those. Originally bought her at a grocery store, so not sure it was the best soil. New soil was a small batch from my local plant store. Also bought house plant fertilizer, but Iâm going to wait a few weeks before applying. Feedback? Tips? Phases to expect after repotting?
I have a question. The app is showing that this plant is a rubber plant , but on the tag itâs showing something different. Which plant is it?
I just took a baby off of our mother aloe vera. Welcome to the world little one.
Hi everyone đ About many a week ago, my baby brother got annoyed of me and took out his anger out on my plants, and he I think pulled the stem and the leaves came off. Now all thatâs left of my Chinese Evergreen or Aglaonema Beauty is one leaf, do you guys know if itâll be okay or not? And do you know if itâll recover? Please and thank you âșïž
Hi All , I have a quick question , if you have more than one plant đ” should you add them ? Just wondering đ€
Is anyone else having issues with watering in this heat ( UK) Iâm watering at night & by the morning the water is completely bone dry. Iâve had to move a few as the soil in some were really hot. I donât want to overwater so Iâm spraying & donât want to underwater either, what are you doing, or what would you do?
Happy Saturday!! What plantâcare thing have you been wanting to try, a new pot, a new spot, a new propagation?!
Ever since having my 3rd child (4 months old now) Iâve been neglecting my house plants. Iâm usually the type that thrives on a schedule (hence why I use planta) and Iâve been consistent with plant care until the last few weeks of pregnancy it all changed. I think Iâve only fertilized my indoor plants once. My potted balcony plants have never been fertilized since the new baby⊠somehow my ficus lyrata is still thriving even though it has lost like 4-5 leaves lately. Any suggestions to improve fertilizing while busy with mom life?
