Is it okay to grow plants in cans? I feel like a bean plant or a spider baby would look so cute in a monster can đ€
When all your plants are healthy, freshly repotted and youâre in a very content place with all them. But all you wanna do is play with them SO BAD. Iâm like âHm. I repotted you two months ago⊠maybe I should unpot and check the progress.â NO, LEAVE THEM ALONE!! đ€Ł
My plant baby produced it's first flower today. I'm so proud. đđ
Ever seen this before? My arrowhead plan is SUPER vining. I know this is a vine plant, but it is growing these really long rope vines. Is this a sign that this lady is happy here?
I have this peace Lilly. I got it yesterday and the soil was super saturated, I toke it home and removed all the old soil. Surprisingly there was not root rot. I made a soil mix 1 part tropical potting mix, 1 part perlite and 1 part orchid bark. I potted it up and decided not to water it sense it was really wet when I got it. I went to check on it this morning and it is starting to droop. I decided to water it. Was that the right thing to do?
Same thing here, through the cracks of the patio in a different spot lol super pretty and cool but donât know what they are
This came out of my pot, how do I save it?

What do you use on your indoor plants to get their leaves to shine? I'm great about doing a monthly wipe down with Dawn dish soap and paper towel (pest prevention) but would love the leaves to be shiny; in particular my Tineke Rubber Tree
So I bought this plant it name is Landscape Crocus Mixed but when I try to see if they have it on the app but . they donât have it but I know it says full sun . And Iâm new to planting plants and take care of it because I donât know if itâs toxic or not toxic but I donât know if itâs easy to plant these and make them grow . I need advice.
Did some repotting today. Fingers crossed they will be happy.
Something has been eating my summer annuals, especially the flowers of my petunias, and my calibrachoas. I have found several of these little caterpillar-like creatures in the plants, and wonder if these are the little buggers that are destroying my lovely plants. Can anybody ID them; if so, what is the best method of getting rid of them? TIA for your welcome suggestions! đ€đđȘŽ
For my fellow Canadians đšđŠ who have purchased plants online- where are you buying them?? Shipping is a fortune đ any specific Etsy shops or websites? âšmy fluffy gorl Fiona for tax purposesâš
I just wanted to show everyone this. These are my leaves I decided to cut away tonight. My plants are astoundingly happy and consistently give me new growth. But sometimes we lose leaves and THATS OKAY! Even the best house plant enthusiasts lose leaves. Itâs a natural part of life. I wanted to share because I know seeing leaves change and need to be cut away can be discouraging. Keep going and donât give up! âš (Now thereâs a difference between losing leaves here/there and losing leaves due to an underlying issue.)
My grandson fell on my aloe start, one of the leafs is cut. Should I cut the entire leaf off?
Here is your second daily plant meme of this week đ€
I was gifted 8 tiny pots (4 inch) and theyâre so cute Iâd love to use them on my porch. What kind of plant could I put in them that wonât outgrow such a little pot too quickly? Zone 8a partial sun
