I have a question about grow lights. I’m looking for a single lamp with a cord that I can hang from the ceiling over my giant monstera. She needs more light desperately! I’ve searched the local Walmarts and Home Depots but I’m not finding what I need. I’d like to find something locally before I search Amazon. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I just don't understand - please help. We are in Savannah,Ga. I got my lemon basil on May 1st. She was about 6-8" tall. Planta asks repeatedly to pinch flowers off- from the get-go. I looked up what her 'flowers' were supposed to look like, in case I was missing something, but there are and never have been flowers and Planta doesn't have an option to say no flowers to pinch off (but that's another problem). The only real place I have for her is the patio where she gets part sun-part shade, but a bit heavier on the sun. You can see she is now 18inches tall. My questions: 1. Is she healthy? 2. Am I supposed to see flowers? 3. Why am I not seeing flowers? 4. Is it detrimental to her health if there are no flowers? 5. What am I doing wrong?
Hello, I’m new here and to the plant community!! I was given a monstera the other day got everything set up for her..then I watered her because she was very dry. Today I woke up to water droplets in a couple places. Can anyone tell me what this means or help me out with some monstera tips?
Any suggestions on how to get her to show me love in return? She’s in a chunky mix with perlite, orchid bark mix and indoor soil, she’s in my master bedroom (most humid room) in a south facing window and has been fertilized this last week. I have had her two months and haven’t seen much other then microscopic nubs🫠 am I missing something?! Help!😬

Help, please! I repotted my airplane/spider plant and pothos plans in March. Today I discovered they have nats. Any help would be appreciated. How do I get rid of the nats?

Hi there, plant daft community! Does anyone know what to do with my bonkers blue chalk sticks?! It’s the ‘Mount Everest’ variety and boy they’re not kidding!! My house is east west facing so he really does stretch for natural light (despite using a wee grow light) and I need to keep turning him… hence he’s all twisty. Any suggestions to keep him straight? Do I need to start hanging grow lights from the ceiling?! 😅 he is definitely coming up for a metre tall though he doesn’t look it all bent over and curly 🫣

Just added this beautiful Pink Urchin begonia to my leafy family. 😍 She’s a cross of two begonias that are native to Indonesia, so I named her “Kirana,” which – according to Google translator 😆 – means “beautiful” in Indonesian. Side note: if you speak Indonesian and I’m completely wrong, let me know! Lol
Any recommendations for me on these plants?! I found them at Walmart and they were soooo pretty. But the blue one has flowers that look dry and wilting and it’s toppling over. The colorful one is beautiful but the grass in the middle seems to be thinning?? Or looking less full I guess? I live in Colorado and these said full sun but maybe we’re too close up here? Should I move them? They’re currently on the porch and get all the sun all day. I water them according to the app schedule but idk what to do 🙃 , they both have drainage pots. I don’t wanna lose them! :( S.O.S. Please & Thank you!
