I am an intermediate plant parent at this point and am a bit unfamiliar with corms! What are they exactly and what type of plants produce them?
1 mi piacecorms are root-runners or "pups" that a variety of plants produce, they're baby plants that grow from a mother's root system. alocasia typically only reproduce via corms, as almost all varieties have sterile blooms.

0 Mi piaceFrom what I've seen around here, for corm propagation, you plant them in 100% perlite and keep them in a sealed container for 100% humidity. I presume you'd want to keep a mostly sterile environment for that, so clean them with hydrogen peroxide and wipe the container with isopropyl alchol before using it. Use distilled water and keep them semi-hydro. Or if you prefer to plant them in soil, I'd use a self-watering setup to keep soil moisture really even, and use plastic wrap or a clear dome for seedlings to help with air humidity
0 Mi piacei've seen some have success with water trays. more people have luck with perlite or stratum. personally when my silver dragon makes corms i wait for them to sprout from the soil and form a leaf, then transplant to their own pot. i kill less of them that way LOL
