Hello! It has been 12 hours since I cut the roots and root ball of my ZZ plant I got from the leftover plants at Walmart. Iâm going to pot them soon so any tips? TIA! This is last night after I cut them.

I bought a ZZ plant of the leftover plants at Walmart. It looked healthy but when I went to repot the roots had bad root rot and the root ball was rotting. I took off the rotting roots and cut the root ball until I found healthy tissue. One of them has no root ball now but has roots. I am having it callous overnight. Any tips? This is a plant I have wanted for a while. Help!

Things I wish this app had: 1. A way to search for plants by setting or current status (i.e. ânever repottedâ brings up all plants in inventory that are still in their nursery pot/soil) 2. Similarly, a way to sort or filter by skill level, pet toxicity, care specifics, etc. C. The ability to mark a plant as combined with another plant, similar to how you can mark it gifted or dead. And last but not least, 4. A chat channel for asking moderators or developers for assistance. Are there any features you wish this app had? Video of my jungle room for tax

I need help/advice! I am new to plants, Iâve had some for the last couple of years, but I didnât start actually learning and taking good care of them until the beginning of this year, and now theyâre all thriving. Iâm absolutely clueless of what to do with my plants once it starts to get cold/when winter hits. Iâve lived in year-round tropical climates the past decade, and we just moved to North Carolina where thereâs all 4 seasons. I attached a picture of all my porch plants; what do I do for them when it gets cold, specifically winter? Do I leave them out there? The porch is not screened in. Theyâre all healthy and thriving for now.

FINALLY. I got a monstera albo, she came with root rot. Chopped it and propagated in water. Got roots back. Repotted. Had no idea what I was doing. Its felt like MONTHS & YEARS I go by the name green fingers now đ©đ»âđŸ

So this monstera was originally my moms but I took it with me when I moved out in January this was her in February, she was a challenge at first, found out the soil wasnât taking in water it just came straight out of the bottom so I decided to not only soak/drench her in water but to chop her too now I did switch her to a sunnier spot but she burned as you can see in the side leaves so I put her back and now sheâs doing better . The next picture is her last month and the last one is her tonight I feel like Iâm doing good, She does have two more leaves coming in đ
Mid-Life Plant Mamma
The absolute scream I let out! We have a leaf coming! This Constellation was gifted to me as a cutting from an unhealthy plant and she was rough. I wasnât sure she was going to make it. 2 months in water and sheâs only recently developed some strong starter roots. When I saw this leaf today had pushed through since yesterday, I was so happy!!! So proud of Seren! Sheâs a fighter for sure!
