Lowes finds are the best finds!
Im new to the plant life can someone tell me what does advanced mean on this app?
Sometimes you have to just stop and think. What do I already have that I can move that will improve things. I rearranged grow lights from different rooms, in hopes that some plants now have better conditions. I have plenty of space for more plants in the future in here. I have a "pink" corner in another room which is my priority when I can expand my collection. I have a pendant grow light picked out and then will move the strip growlights to the "plant room," as my son calls it! As always....things are a work in progress!! Once I am sure I am happy, I will clean up the cords.
What plant is this, was given this as a gift, need info on how to look after it :)
Got a new plant. Name suggestions, anyone?
Iâve tried the odd few different versions of the soil moisture meters and never found them reliable, normally just put finger in to test, which is a pain as I have the fungus gnat toppers ( diatomaceous earth) on mine, brings soil up when testing so have to recover each time. Just tried putting one in water (see pic) water definitely dry đ . Anyone use a reliable one they know works, assuming a powered meter version would work but not tried one yet.
Well, rise and shine my beautiful leafđ
Anyone know why my rubber plants is starting to produce 2 leaves at the same time? It hasnât grown any leaves for a while so I gave it a repot and it been doing a lot better and put out new leaves on all of its stems. The first stem had a layer on it that came off and a little dead rubber plant leaf was inside I thought nothing of it. Then the second leaf come and the same thing happened except the leaf was very small and still alive. The third leaf came and it was the exact same as the first leaf. (Ive attached a photo of it) is there any reassign why this is happening? And is this normal?
$12 clearance steal anthurium! Any tips welcome đ
Good morning, good afternoon, good evening all, I'm hoping someone can help me with this query. My money plant that I bought recently that needed saving, has these tiny white bumps on the back of the leaves. I was thinking maybe calcium pushing out of the leaves from using bad water. I'm hoping that's all it is and now that it's getting filtered and dechlorinated water that it will help it. Or maybe it's normal? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
What type of plant is this?

got roots poking out the bottom, my polka dot plant will be fine right?

Plant haul!! â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Super excited to find roots developing and multiple nodes activating after deciding to top and prop my Ficus altissima! I wonder how many branches Iâll get?
Hi Plant fam, me again. I've had a Croton Petra for about 1.5 years. It was outgrowing the pot it was in which was a self watering planter. I was having a hard time finding a larger self watering planter so I thought I could still maintain the moisture level it was used to; boy was I wrong. Since removing it, it started giving me attitude and went from full of all different colored leaves and flowering every few months to now dropping its leaves. =( Long story short (too late), what is a good, fun houseplant that will do well with getting some direct sunlight? Depending on time of year it can vary to just a couple of hours of direct sun and as much as about 6 or 8. I already have a Tineke Rubber Tree. Looking for something different, fun, maybe colorful. Open to whatever. This is what it used to look like =(
I started my plant journey again in March and an happily collecting. I live in a small 1100 sq. ft. apartment. Twenty foot ceilings in the living room and kitchen. Floor space is premium space. I saw an idea on Facebook using a tension for the shower. I have one, and 2 more with a grow light coming tomorrow. I thought someone might like this idea. Here is a new picture. It is coming together!
