THREE new branches and a ton of roots! I was terrified to chop my ficus altissima but Iâm so happy that I did. I am still trying to decide if I should pot the top back in with the momma or give it its own pot and chop the top again. Either way, I canât wait to have a massive tree in my house!!

I need help with my draceanea dragon tree plant. I have repotted it in a bigger pot. The plant has gotten very tall. I've been told I can cut the stalk from the top and it will start growing new stalks below. Is that true? If yes , when should I do that? It is early fall right now. The plant has been outside all summer. It is indoors the rest of the year. Thank you.
Itâs time to cut back my plants and Iâm very reluctant to. Planta instructions are to measure back 1/3 of the length of the branch and cut there (keeping branching etc in mind). Does it really matter how far back I cut? Whatâs the closest to the ground that I could cut back and still have the plant grow out again in spring? Do I have to cut back at all? Any suggestions would be so appreciated. No need to answer the whole questionnaire đ I got carried away! I cut her way back. I think itâs ok. So much cut off. Not really sure what to do with the off cuts. My plant is beautiful and I will be keeping a close watch.
Hello all! I have a very sad orchid plant. Or, perhaps the remnants of one? It was one of those grocery store orchids and though it was pretty I knew nada about keeping it alive. It was beautiful for a long time but died of bit by bit. I finally got the nerve and materials to repot it about 3 weeks ago. Sheâs not looking betterâŠor worse. Does she just need time? Iâve read all the things and watched videosâŠI have what I think is a good mix for her growing medium and a proper potâŠwater her according to planta instructions. Do I just need to be patient, or is she too far gone to come back? Thanks in advance for any pointers you can share.
I have a large east facing window in my reading room that Iâve been using for plants for quite some time now. I got some new ones that the app says are too far away from the window⊠Is it okay that theyâre a little further than they want them to be if the light is bright enough in the room? Itâs a smaller room with all white walls and it gets about 5 hours of morning sun! Thereâs nothing to block this window so it gets a lot of backlight all day. I just want to make sure my plant babies are thriving!!! Thanks plant queens, Iâm really new to this!!
Some more baby leaves that are getting me through the days.
I got this plant off my sister that sheâs had for a while but could use some help with how to care for it- I changed the soil to a generic indoor plant potting mix but I donât know a lot about it
Weâre going to Plant Mania this weekend and I am beyond excited đ Iâm hoping to find some rare tropical beauties. Enjoy my favorite plant- Charlie, the peacock plant đŠ

I just bought this huge Shell Ginger. $6!!!! It was 75% off because it's considered a summer plant. I love deals!! Anyway, does anyone else have one? I'm confused about the light requirements. I told the gentleman at the greenhouse that I had a rather dark corner and that was the only place it would fit. He said that they adjust well. However Planta told me it was too dark. đ€ŠđŒââïž
Hi All! Two very interesting developments in my calathea warscewiczii⊠a flower and a mushroom at the same time. What does it mean? Has anyone experienced this? Is it a good thing? I have 40+ houseplants, mostly calatheas but this is new to me. Intel appreciated! (Iâm excited). Thank you đđ
Iâve been really wanting another pothos, I have a golden pothos right now but Iâve been looking at a marble queen⊠is there a big difference in watering/light and if I were to hang one which one should I hang? Thanks plant queens!

Are there any tips to getting water stains off your plants? I brought this plant from a store assuming with some water they would come off but they keep coming back. Does anyone know a way to make them go away, will they just naturally go away, or they are stuck there forever. I few of my other plants also have them but his one is the most visible
Possibly this has been asked and answered, I just want to know, how many plants do you guys have?? Iâve just reached 23 different kinds (not including babies or props) my dad seems to think itâs a bit much. I feel like I could def have more! Complimentary pic of my almost 3 year old white bird of paradise. (She has been really fussy since getting repotted lmk if anyone has any recommendations)
As my personal life just keeps crumbling...I have my plants to look forward to. Sharing my current favorite baby leaf. All of the other baby leaves are tied for #2.
Does anyone know what these little critters are? I found them inside my indoor pothos pot.
