What pest control works on caterpillars, flea beetles, and leaf miners all in one? - From research, I hear spinosad works as well as neem oil, but money is tight right now so I want to know what I'm buying before I buy it. For now, I'm testing 500ml water + 1tsp Dawn + 1tsp Publix Vegetable Oil This comes up when I notice holes in my kale plants and those white lines/tunnels made by leaf miners in my Baby Bok Choy, Snappy Peas, and Kale. The image attached is from my DBCV Kale. I picked that leaf and the other ones on each plant off. Some by the stem. The Premier Kale tagged in this post is one of the two total that have the holes in them. They're growing well so I want to save them while I can. What has worked for you besides just squeeze-killing the bugs and shooing them away?
Sharing a bit of my plants today :)
Beginner questions. If I cut the end off a marble queen pothos to propagate it, will it continue to grow where I cut it? Will the un-cut end of the cutting continue to grow? I have a pothos that has one loooong strand and it's getting unmanageable.
Blueberry is curing very nicely The humidity was a little high so ill burp the jars for a couple hrs and fix that the smell is getting stronger every few days
Hi all, I bought this Elephant bush about a year or two ago and it started to die but I was able to pick and save some of it. I want to propagate it but am unsure if cutting it will kill it. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!
care tips of this new begonia i got today?! :p
Hey Y’all! Please tell me why….. I moved my aloes inside for the cold Easter rainy weekend… I moved them into a dark laundry room, and suddenly we are dark green and thriving! When we were pail green from the sun. 😑
Sad news to report about my Alocasia Bambino that was on the way from BubbleBlooms thru Amazon! It was already taking a week to ship, then it got delayed an estimated other week!!! Poor Sal is dead or dying right now! At least Amazon processed my refund.
Spotted this at my local e-bike shop! Another flat tire…🙄
Can anyone tell me what’s happening? They have been happy for years and this just started happening!
Happy Monday! Share a win: new leaf, bloom, rescue progress, propagation success 💚
(Hyperventilating) Sqqquuueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 SHE. HAS. A. NEW. BLOOM. Y’ALL. I’M SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😃
Pretty sure she’s a Thanksgiving cactus but here she is blooming again for Easter.
I am looking for a good (but reasonably priced) spray to clean my plant leaves and keep them “”pest free.” I also need some advice as my African Violet had mealy bugs. I have done everything but the bugs remain. She is healthy just buggy 🤷🏻♀️ Here are some of my other babies 💗 Thank you in advance.
My baby Alocasia is growing too fast, do you think giving them support is the best option (OR do they even need a support?), rather than repotting? As I think they’re still happy with their little home. How do y’all support your long stemmed Alocasia’s? Thanks!
Hi friends I have this prayer plant for few weeks now and its not good I have already removed few yellow leaves but there is more again and new leaves that are still coiled are not looking good what could be the reason and what should I do?
Any specific Neem oil yall recommend for spider mites? Just noticed some on my ivy, gotta get rid of them asap
I bought a dryi tent i normally dry in my temp controlled cellar but i figure the tent would be cool to have i put one plant inside to dry as a test to see if the tent is worth it
Happy Easter 🐰🐤all- it snowed here this morning 🤔🤨😒🙄 but i was able to get some much needed repotting done for 10 of my newest babies still in their nursery pots. Question: any insight on purchases from BWH taking FOREVER to ship? I bought a few plants a few weeks ago and i just keep getting sorry about the delay emails but no actual timing updates. Hoping its worth the wait. It was my first order.
