Can somebody help me figure out what happened at the base of my aloe plant? Iâm new at taking care of plants, and I just got this guy a little over a week ago in perfect condition. Now I looked and saw that the base of this leaf is mushy, a little brown, and floppy.
Eek. What is this stuff in the soil of my Njoy Pothos?? I was about to water it when I noticed this unhealthy leaf, so I pulled it out of its pot to make sure everything looked good, and this is what I found. Some kind of mold I presume. Hoping itâs harmless, but regardless, what is the best course of action? Iâve had this plant for about a month.

I just received a lovely Watermelon Peperomia in the mail today. Thought Iâd ask for any tips from anyone whoâs had this type of peperomia a little longer than I have, especially about repotting and soil brand tips. I currently have a Variegated Peperomia Obtusifolia thatâs enjoying a spot in my north windowsill, but I donât want to assume that just cause Wanda hereâs also a peperomia that sheâll like that spot just as much as Penny (my Var. Pep.). Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Looking for helpđđ„șGot this birds of paradise few months ago. But itâs looking down and the leaves are splitting or yellowing. The growth is so slow. I water once itâs dry, give it some food, place them next to the window and remove any dust. What can I possibly do to help it better grow?

These fungus gnats are getting to me so Iâm considering switching to bottom watering. Iâve seen people say they just fill their plants saucer, but that doesnât seem like enough water to me. Do you fill it multiple times or something? Below is a pic of the thick well draining plastic liners most of my plants are in.
Looking for some help! đđŒ I finally bought my first Monstera last weekend. I felt like maybe she wasnât getting enough light in my window so Iâve put her outside in the early morning sunlight for 2-3 hours the last few days (I live in northern NY). I thought she was liking it since I even got a new fenestration but I noticed that the tips of the leaves are curling down? Is this normal? Iâm afraid maybe the sun hurt it, and Iâm not sure what to do (I havenât watered it since I bought it in fear of overwatering, also, and I did a wipe down with neem oil on the leaves this afternoon so I plan to keep her out of the sun for the next day or two). Iâd really appreciate anyoneâs help; Iâm new to this and really want to keep her happy and healthy đ„č
Name some fast growing and âdifferentâ looking plants that I could add to my collection. I find I love my monsteras (delicisoa and adansonii) bc they grow so fast! Also love my philo basil for that reason. What are some others you would suggest with funky leaves or colors? Thanks!

Got this plant in Feb, it was in a teeny tiny growerâs pot so i repotted it immediately into the one pictured. As you can see, sheâs grown quite a bit in the last few months! At what point should I put her in a larger pot? Thanks!
