Does anyone have a good orchid DIY mix? I don't want to purchase an orchid mix. I currently have it in 2 parts soil, 1 part perlite and 1 part orchid bark but I believe it’s getting root rot) I already have perlite, LECA, soil, pon, sphagnum moss, and orchid bark so I know I can make my own mix. What do the orchid people recommend?

My peace lily has fallen ill and I would like to know if I have to cut any brown or dead leaves

I need ideas to stake my fiddle leaf fig ! I have clear fishing line now tied to a small hook but it makes the plant immovable and some leaves are in the dark. Help!

Does anyone know what these tiny bugs are that are crawling around my plant? There are at least ten of them and they fly

Repotted Caz last night and my guy was 90% roots and 10% soil… this pot is just a tad bigger? Previous was 6x6 and this one is like 6x7ish? What size would y’all recommend? This one will work until I can find a decent replacement but he’s looking perkier lately.

What ever happened to the "fair" option when updating plant progress? Like, I have some plants that have stagnated that I wouldn't call "good" or "bad". I wish the "fair" option comes back!

I got a wishlist plant as a tissue culture about a year ago. with a lil love she is finally turning into the Pinterest plant of my dreams 🤩 For those interested- she’s a begonia amphioxus and totally worth the wait - she’s even putting out little flowers if you look closely 🥹

Anyone else noticing that their plants are suffering with the AC running more? Is that “a thing”?

This baby is NOT ok. I think I want to propagate as much as I can. There are a lot of good nodes. I’ve never propagated a node with no leaves. Would it be best to do them in soil or water? If water, how? I have propagation beakers that I use but I wouldn’t be able to get the nodes out once they root.

This is a Rex begonia right? Lowe’s had it labeled as syngonium.🤷‍♀️

Hey guys , kinda new to being a plant mom. My grandma got me a plant and Planta just identified it as being a Canna Lily which is supposed to be outside. I’m in an apartment so I can’t plant it in the ground. Can I get a big rectangle planter and it still survives or no ? Thanks guys

Hi everyone! I have a lemon cypress that I had under watered and so some of the branches started to turn brown. I trimmed them off, but I find this is usually the kiss of death for them. Does anyone have any ideas to resurrect it?

I redid my indoor greenhouse garden about 2 weeks ago. My squash has grown so good and very well to where I’m not ready to introduce it to the outdoors yet, but I need a good fertilizer that’s helps all the fruit && vegetables and including the flowers too.
