Tell me about your "stupid" hobby nemesis. Not the pest or the crispy leaves...but the really stupid thing that bothers you. Mine: 🟒 Cords. I hate cords. I spend an obscene amount of time trying to hide cords. Like, I need to find right angle T5 connectors that will allow me to better hide those cords. 🟒 Nursery liners that you can see in the cover pot. I want them to fit perfectly....but still be able to get it out easily for watering and root check. GO! What is yours?

Is the placement of this grow light efficient or does it need to be much closer? I am planning on adding 3 plant holders on the wall to the right in the empty space. The curtain on the left is drawn in front of a patio door so the plants closer to the glass door gets great natural light. I’m trying to have the grow lights support the plants that are more in the middle and my future plants on the right of the wall.

I know that once a vine/stem start producing all-green leaves, they will only grow those unless pruned back to variegation, but I don’t think I ever saw something that specified whether the same is true for no-green growth. Do I need to trim off the totally pink leaves from this turtle vine in order to keep it growing, or can those stems still produce the variegated leaves if left alone?

I've had this bromeliad for 2 years. A friend gave it to me cause his wife didn't like that they only bloom once. I told them that it will get babies and they will bloom but she didn't want to wait. Well she's is finally blooming for me. I'm so excited. This is about a weeks difference

Got this beauty at a plant swap and can't decide if it's a N-joy, Manjula, Pearl and jade or glacier. What do you all think? Thanks

Looking to buy a plant that will do great away from windows. Any suggestions? Thank you!

So has anyone had a plant that initially you had it in "the best" area for it...only for it to struggle, crispy leaves, dried up new sprouts.... Then out of frustration moved it around, gave up, and plopped it in a spot "not ideal"...only for it to love the new spot...meet my prayer plant...under a frosted top table, under an east window, under a humidifier, next to a heat vent (the brown spots are old)

I’m getting these marks on my plants. Could these be burn marks from my grow light? Are they too close to the grow light or is too high? Or is this from an unknown bug?

Guys, I've got two rescue kitties that I love ❀️ 😍 more than life itself...however, both, but one in particular (I'm looking at YOU-Smokey!) is a sneaky plant snacker!! πŸͺ΄ πŸˆβ€β¬› He alone is personally responsible for the demise of 3-4 plants over the past 2 years. I'm thinking of trying one of those deterrent sprays? Like "bitter apple"? Have y'all had success using a deterrent spray? Little scamp won't do it in FRONT of Mama!!🀣🀣 Oh no! And please I'll take ANY suggestions, except yelling or physical violence-thanks SOOOO much!πŸ₯°πŸ€—

Just like cutting my hair, I’m timid about cutting whole sections of plants off lol. But my prayer plant had a big section that was too heavy apparently and it started splitting. I tried to splint and that didn’t work. So I decided to just cut off that whole side and propagate it. Two of the three propagations were ready so I planted them. I can’t believe the difference in the size of the leaves. πŸ˜†

Local plant shop just posted on IG that they just got a new shipment/restock. It doesn't hurt to look, right?
