Help my new plant leaf just turned yellow,I’m noticing tiny brown bugs n white ones .. first time I noticed I got dish soap n water with alcohol n sprayed wiped off leaves and threw it under a shower but then I think it got overwatered by doing that . This leaf is the only yellow one i was told to cut it off but how do I do that? Where do I cut from? I’m so new to this and my leaves to it has also been dripping a lot of water idk what’s going on. The bottom pic was a before pic showing the leaves before turning yellow
I recently got an acrece palm that’s having a leaning problem and I’ve been wondering what could be causing it. Does anyone have any advice or ideas on why?
Quick tip - I’ve had great luck finding amazing plants for relatively cheap on the app WhatNot! I love it - gotten some great (albeit young/small) philos for less than $10
B1G1 free at the Publix near my house. They were by the registers and not even in the floral area! I almost missed them. The snake plant is for my office at my job. The Chinese evergreen is going in my bedroom.
I never realized how rubber plants look when they grow, I was just kind of handed this one the owner didn’t want anymore. Wild looking!
Lowes finds are the best finds!
Im new to the plant life can someone tell me what does advanced mean on this app?
Sometimes you have to just stop and think. What do I already have that I can move that will improve things. I rearranged grow lights from different rooms, in hopes that some plants now have better conditions. I have plenty of space for more plants in the future in here. I have a "pink" corner in another room which is my priority when I can expand my collection. I have a pendant grow light picked out and then will move the strip growlights to the "plant room," as my son calls it! As always....things are a work in progress!! Once I am sure I am happy, I will clean up the cords.
What plant is this, was given this as a gift, need info on how to look after it :)
Got a new plant. Name suggestions, anyone?
I’ve tried the odd few different versions of the soil moisture meters and never found them reliable, normally just put finger in to test, which is a pain as I have the fungus gnat toppers ( diatomaceous earth) on mine, brings soil up when testing so have to recover each time. Just tried putting one in water (see pic) water definitely dry 😂 . Anyone use a reliable one they know works, assuming a powered meter version would work but not tried one yet.
Well, rise and shine my beautiful leaf😍
Anyone know why my rubber plants is starting to produce 2 leaves at the same time? It hasn’t grown any leaves for a while so I gave it a repot and it been doing a lot better and put out new leaves on all of its stems. The first stem had a layer on it that came off and a little dead rubber plant leaf was inside I thought nothing of it. Then the second leaf come and the same thing happened except the leaf was very small and still alive. The third leaf came and it was the exact same as the first leaf. (Ive attached a photo of it) is there any reassign why this is happening? And is this normal?
$12 clearance steal anthurium! Any tips welcome 🙏
Good morning, good afternoon, good evening all, I'm hoping someone can help me with this query. My money plant that I bought recently that needed saving, has these tiny white bumps on the back of the leaves. I was thinking maybe calcium pushing out of the leaves from using bad water. I'm hoping that's all it is and now that it's getting filtered and dechlorinated water that it will help it. Or maybe it's normal? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
