Happy 6-26!!!

Hello! I just recently received this plant as a gift and it didnât say what the plant was. I donât know for sure what type of plant this is, but I for sure know that there are two plants together in this pot. One is a fern (I donât know what type) and the other is a flowering plant (donât know which type). Iâm going to have a very hard time reporting these because there was no plastic thing inside the ceramic pot. Help!!! - with everything pls!
One of my ficus has had this since I got her about a year ago. It hasnât sprouted any new leaves and I feel like itâs because this little piece got stuck or never finished growing. Should I cut it off? Is there anything I can do for it? She otherwise very healthy, sheâs been repotted (about 4 months ago?), and doesnât show any signs of root rot.
Hoping for some guidance from someone with more experience with Caladiums than I have. I bought her about a week ago from a nursery. She came home standing nice and tall and now sheâs beginning to sag. Is this something I should stake up and reinforce, or is this âokâ and I leave it alone? Also - silly question but is the new growth a new leaf or a flower coming in? Any help / tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Didnât realize there was this section in this app. Check out my husband & Iâs plants!
Just curious, do any of you own a Philodendron Tortum? Do you find it to be somewhat of a slow grower or is it just me?
Quick question, do I use sphagnum moss or peat moss with Leca? Iâm reporting an orchid and I donât remember if they said which type. Thanks!!!
This is what my gardenia bonsai looks like today. I took her out of her pot and she was completely root bound. đ I donât think she was able to absorb any water at all. I trimmed back her roots and freed them up a little and then put her in some fast-draining palm potting mix I have because I think she needs more nutrients than sheâll get from akadama right now. I pruned the dead leaves and flowers, too. The flower you see in the photo was still a bud two hours earlier when I watered her. Iâm keeping my fingers crossed that I got to her in time and that sheâll like her new digs. đ€đŒ
Why is it that they are under exact circumstances bought two weeks apart and they look so different? Is there something I am missing? đ€
run, donât walk to Home Depot !!! đ€Łđ«¶đ» found these beauties today! so excited seeing as the white princess has been on my wishlist for months!!!
I have a large palm on my balcony and the leaves keep getting brown at the tips and/or dying!!! Help please! What Iâm I doing or not doing?
hey yâall! im going out of town for the 4th of july for about a week and im super worried about some of my plants. (currently trying to find someone to come in and plant sit but probably not going to happen) any suggestions/ideas? (preferably one that doesnât involve me buying a bunch of self watering timers :)]
How long does everyone wait to repot after purchasing a plant?
