Can I pot my alocasia in straight perlite ? It is a rhizome or corm ? Not sure exactly what you call it (Previously a bambino with leaves, the leaves fell off and are regrowing) the leaves have started to come back and have been getting big ! I did noticed small white bugs and have been spraying but itâs been a pain in my butt ! đ I also do have soil but not sure if it retains too much moisture for this plant. Please help ! I want to grow her back and flourish ! đ

Growing lots of new leaves but theyâre coming discolored and kinda deformed. What am I doing wrong? No pests anywhere. It gets great light and I water like every 4-5 days according to the app.

I need ideas. I am a teacher in a classroom with 2 very small windows. I am looking for ideas on any plants that I can put in my classroom that will spruce it up and that the kids will enjoy. Maybe something that blooms. Something that only requires low light to thrive. All plants will be out of reach of the children so any low light plant will be good. Any ideas? Thank you in advance!

I just bought a corn plant and a cat palm from Walmart because both were only $7 and pretty big. Thereâs some browning on both but Iâm sure Iâll be able to nurse them back to health. Does anyone have advice on when to water both and what kind of sunlight they like? Iâve never had either so Iâm looking for someone with personal experience, since google didnât help much.
Continuing to have issues with my polka dot plant. Recently I repotted it in this larger pot with a tropical soil and put it in an east facing window. But itâs still struggling. Maybe itâs still in shock from being repotted? Any help is appreciated!

hii, my polka dot begonia has dropped all its leaves i donât know what could possibly be the cause⊠my bf repotted it in june as it was doing rly well but then it slowly started to lose leaves :( if anyone had any suggestions to get him back to his healthy bushy self it would be greatly appreciated <3
