Hi Plant peoples I just got this beautiful guy but I have no idea what kind of plant this is. Any ideas?
hi all! any suggestions on how to water most effectively? i've been told majesty palms are pretty finicky & i just got this and haven't watered it yet and am afraid 🫣
This plant just shared this beautiful bloom with us after buying it about a month or so ago, a lucky find but was not quite as pretty at that time! “Stanley” has filled out so nicely and I say he’s very happy here🥰🪴
If you’d like could you share your propagation stations? I would like to make one and I am looking for inspiration! Thank you!! 💧🫙🌱
Does anyone know how long the center will take to grow? it has been growing small one on the sides for the last two months but nothing in the middle.
Does anyone know how to turn off ALL fertilizer reminders at once? Or if only one at a time, how? Thanks. And for fun, here’s my mutant Angel Wings. (Well, I’m calling it mutant because it’s shot up 1.5 FEET past all other stems I have on my 5+ other Angel Wings plants, including the same plant. No fertilizer! 26” and still growing. Don’t know the variegation because it was a bag of mixed bulbs (yay Amazon)! (Click pic to see whole stem/leaf)
Does anyone make their own soil and can share some start up advice… x
This on my outside calibrachao anyone have any idea what they are and how to treat?
Hey yall. Wanted some advice. Unfortunately my aloe plant got knocked over, and while I was repotting it I noticed that the outer leaves were starting to fade a bit. I got this plant last week, and haven’t watered it yet because the soil it came in was completely drenched. It sits on my balcony where the sun is directly on it for about 8 hours. Should I go ahead and cut these leaves away, or is there still time to save them? The shorter one does look like it sustained some damage in the fall.
Is dollar store decorative moss ok for stuffing growth poles?
Thoughts on using this type of fertilizer for indoor plants + application tips? (Do you normally with water or direct application to soil)
I just got a string of pearls and I’ve heard that they are hard to take care of. I’m not sure if planta will be good because I’ve had some issues before. Should I trust planta and put her into a schedule or do it my self?
I’ve just started this new project with plants I’m getting older and never thought I’d ever get into plants but here we are 👍🏾I got one plant and now I’ve gone crazy and it’s amazing how interesting it is these are my collection I don’t know what all of them are called or how to even look after them all but I’m trying and it’s really rewarding and a great hobby. I 🩵💜❤️💚🩷💙🧡🧡🩶💛 all my plants.
Does anyone know what kind of plant this is? My friend is asking…I think its some sort of succulent?
For the planta app I use liquid fertilizer in my water. However, it has me water one day and the next day it says it needs fertilizer. Is there any way to fix this? Cause then I have to check the plants each day to see if they need fertilizer too.
Calathea rhizome spotted at the bottom of my pot. Is it time for a repot? This is all i can see at the bottom, no other visible roots or rhizomes. I’ve got some browning leaves and wonder if it may be because it’s due for a repot? Also, if i were to repot, what size would be best? It’s currently in a 6” pot. Thank you!
Can anybody tell me the names of these two plants; I know they’re baby rubber plants and I think one is a sweet and sour and maybe one is a variegated??? TIA for your brains! 🤗💚🪴
My Alocasia just got real phallic all of a sudden. What are we doing here?! UPDATE: it’s no longer standing at attention and no flower…
I am planning on leaving my beloved green friends for a short period of time. At this point, they don’t have a plant sitter as she is pregnant. I’m looking for a self watering system for in-home use. Water globes, and bottles attached to watering stakes may not offer the plant enough water, or so I’ve been told. Could you give me any advice on an item that would serve this purpose well? I like the idea of a plant being watered as it needs it rather than getting water as programmed since I’m afraid of getting a plant too wet. However, I’ve been told that self watering devices may not give enough water to moisture loving plants. What a conundrum! TIA for any comments on the following or maybe better ideas. Regards, 🤗💚🪴
