I’ve had these little guys on my monstera and can’t seem to get rid of them. Any idea what they are? They only appear on the tops of the leaves and never seem to move. I can easily blow them off the leaves.
I have a pretty new blackberry bush i got in almost perfect health. As you can see its growing berries and there are little flowers growing on it. I’m having a few issues and I’ve never grown berries or any kind of fruit. My first issues is the leaves in the second to last photo, i assume somethings been eating them but I’m not sure what, I didn’t see and pests on the leaves or plants anywhere. Does anyone know what kind of pest it could be or what i can do to prevent it? I’d also like to know if that could permanently damage the plant? The second issue is in the last picture, The one stem is just a dark brown with brown leaves but I believe it’s one of the few with an actual berry so far. Any advice or info is helpful! Someone please help me take better care of this baby. 😞
Is this something eating my marigolds or some sort of fungus? I’ve researched what could be doing this and it says it might be slugs. Has anyone had this issue?
🚨Fungus gnats have plagued all of my houseplants🚨 HELP!!!
What is this??? They are all over my indoor plants. Honestly, I’m about ready to throw every plant in the garbage. I don’t handle bugs well
Bought & moved into a house recently, like two weeks ago. And moved all my plants here, they were having a grand old time with all the extra windows & space. And, because of the heat wave & food, I have ants. Working on getting rid of them, but not they’re infesting the soil of one of my plants in our kitchen window, but just one of the seven. My guess is because the drainage hole is more accessible. I’m going to spray the pot down with neem oil to get them to leave, move the plant to a new location so the ants get “lost,” and wipe down the counters with soapy water. Should I do anything else to prevent their return?
Its waterd regularly but it's under an ac and it's occasionally moved outside, could that be why its weak?
I’ve had this dieffenbachia for about 11 months and it has been a struggle. It’s been consistently yellowing and dropping leaves but also growing new leaves. I repotted in April to try and bring it back to health but it seems worse. I am not sure if it is worth saving anymore.. I mist with distilled water and it sits in very bright indirect light from staircase windows. I water when soil is dry and let the water drain out the drainage hole. It is potted in all purpose indoor potting mix mixed with extra perlite. Any help would be appreciated! Wondering if I could propagate what’s left to give it another chance.
hi, everyone:) so i purchased this amy dieffenbachia about 4 months ago or so. it was doing okay for a couple weeks and then the leaves started yellowing and eventually shriveling up. i’ve ruled out any signs of pests. i only water it when the soil is practically completely dry, so i don’t think it’s from overwatering. i’ve been watering less since these signs started just to rule overwatering out, so i don’t think it’s from under watering either. it’s by my window, but on the side so it doesn’t get harsh direct light and is more in the shade. ive repotted since the signs appeared and the roots look great. only thing im seeing online is that this species is just over dramatic and it’s possible it’s doing this for no apparent reason?? i think it is possible its not liking the nutrient amount in the soil, whether too much or too little but i don’t want to have to buy new soil if that isn’t the case. idk but i need help lol. thank you!! (the potting mix is about 2/4 fox farm potting soil, 1/4 orchid bark, and 1/4 perlite. it’s about 7 inches from my window)
Hi friends! Need some help with my bird of paradise. This is the third leaf that has become brown in the middle and curled up. The other two eventually completely died. Is this fungus? Watering issue? Please help! There’s a new leaf coming in so I’m less likely to think it’s a watering issue but still clueless. Thanks!!
Is this a pest? The heat wave came and the larger pads laid down so I gave them support and placed them in a shadier spot. So I’m not sure if this is a sap or eggs possibly? I’ve never seen them before. Not sure if the gouge is from something eating it or a stress response from laying down due to heat.
I just found some bugs in my Hoya compacta. It’s my first time dealing with pests. Can anyone help identify what they are? My best guess is aphids but they look more square compared to pictures of them online so I’m not sure. Thank you!
Is there anyway to save this rosemary plant? I only purchased it a few weeks ago, watered based on planta’s schedule… but it was already starting to dry out. Then I missed watering it during the heat wave and here we are. I think it is a combo of it being in too small of a pot, and that it was enduring the heat wave. Was thinking of fertilizing it and putting it in a large pot with new soil. Any other suggestions?
I bought this gardenia a month or two ago from Costco and originally had it in full sun as the tag with the pot said full to part sun. I noticed the leaves started yellowing. I have since moved it to a shadier area yet the leaves are still yellowing? Could this be due to not enough sun now? Any tips would be appreciated.
I have two money trees. They are each in an eastern facing window. One has been thriving and one is just doing OK. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the one downstairs and today I noticed what looked like a fine yellow powder on top of the soil. Does anyone have any idea what that could be? I forgot to take pictures of the bad soil, but the attached picture is of my struggling and healthy money tree. One difference I’m pretty sure of is that the one that isn’t doing as well was in miracle-gro potting soil and the one that is thriving is in a chunky soil blend I get from my local nursery. I have seen Adrian say it but my experience also backs up that the miracle-gro soil is terrible. I repotted it and used the chunky soil blend today.
Hi! I've had this "cold hardy" banana plant for about two weeks and we repotted him because he was extremely root bound (breaking apart the plastic nursery pot and bursting), and now that he's in our apartment he is turning yellow and brown? We have humidifiers and a grow light and he's not near any AC vent. Other tropical plants are doing well in the same space but this seems off. Help?
Noticed this on the roots of my ficus Audrey when I took her out of her nursery pot to repot, any ideas what this could be?
Hi everybody, I live in South Carolina. I’ve never seen this before. Can someone please tell me what is it. It was not there yesterday. Thank you all in advances for your help.
As you can see, the base of my Love Heart plant is a really weird colour and has been for a little while now. It gets partial sun but never direct sunlight. Any ideas?
