I noticed my Thai con monstera developing large brown spots on the variegated portions of the leaves, and after some investigating I also discovered dusty looking brown patches and a few thrips š
Any tips on how to get rid of them? Iāve tried a houseplant insecticide that seems to help temporarily but after a day or so the thrips are back. Iāve seen them on two other plants as well and have been treating all 3 together in isolation. Is there anything else I can do? :(
The first pic is before damage when it was thriving and the rest are current. I also carefully trimmed away any brown portions of the leaves.

LAVENDER S.O.S. ā OK⦠Iām just gonna ask.
This is a lavender Iām trying to bring back to life. I overwatered it.
I repotted and added blood meal and some plant food to the soil and have been many days without watering for moisture to go away. The roots were blocking the old pot hole so it wasnāt draining properly. It looks very dry but I could see the healthy vein when I repotted. Do you think I have a chance? Is it true that you only water it once a month? Could a water meter help me? Thanks in advance. Iām praying over it š

My birdās of paradise is starting to get little brown flaky spots along the border of its leaves, itās also showing little holes in it and lots of the leaves are splitting down the middle. I know itās not under watered because I literally watered it 3 days ago, could it be overwatered? Is it getting too much sun? Is the fan in my room drying it out? The pot doesnāt have drainage holes because itās huge and I keep it in my room⦠I donāt know what to do

This is my first time owning a baby rubber plant (peperomia obtusifolia) and I wasnāt sure if this would become a bigger problem or if this is just contained to one leaf?

Iāve had my trusty ZZ for close to 5 years now. It seems to be pretty happily neglected and has put off 4 new shoots recently. Somewhere along the way, my cat decided it would be a tasty snack so in addition to some leaf damage, Iāve started noticing some dark spots along some of the older stems. Is the from the cat attack or age related? Something else, maybe?

Hello! I think this plant I got for Valentineās Day might have a fungal infection. Dr planta said that was the correct answer. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Luckily, if it is a fungal infection it shouldnāt spread because this is my only plant in the kitchen. How would I treat it? The affected leaves are almost soggy, and the rest of the plant is healthy.

My stromanthe triostar has unfurled a new leaf - but many of the rest look miserable. Iām in Minnesota, it gets some bright indirect light, I keep her misted, and she has good drainage. Soil is very dry. More water?

Any ideas on why my neon philodendron is getting these really dark leaves? First pic is when i first got it, later pics are today. Last pic is the leaves that actually still appear neon.

My snake plant has been doing so good. Itās been producing little babies and beautiful variegation. Thatās why Iām so confused by the drooping leaves. Iāve definitely not over fertilized it (havenāt fertilized it ever), I give it enough sunlight, and I only water it when itās completely dry all the way down to the bottom of the soil. And itās only the leaves from the mother plant that are doing that. The baby snake plants are completely fine except for weird creasing of the leaves. I also saw strands of webs so that canāt be good.
Edit: I just placed a wooden skewer into the pot and pushed it down to the very bottom. After a min or two I took it outā¦it was completely dry. I got a second opinion (Aka another wooden skewer) and I was also really dry. Thatās very weird since I watered it TWO DAYS AGO.

I found this cutie at Loweās on clearance Sunday, got her home and cleaned her up. Gave her a bath and repotted. I just noticed the top parts of the stems look sort of brown/dark. Is this a problem? If so, is it fixable? How?

Hey hey everybody!!
Hope you're all doing great
I want to save this poor Poinsettia however I'm not really sure how could I do it
Planta told me to make a drainage hole in the pot however it's a ceramic pot
I'm confused
Should I use a drill to make the hole?
I'd really appreciate your response
Have a good one!!
