Hi everyone! I am very new to planting and I just recently got my first 3 yesterday! One being my hibiscus plant ! It was beautiful and perked up yesterday but I went out to check on it today and the flower has already wilted. I worry it may be from a lack of sunlight, but wanted to post in here and get other opinions. Also was curious about the best fertilizer to use ? I’m posting a picture when I got it yesterday and then when I just went and checked on it. Help!
Hi all, I recently planted about 9 of these 3’ Karl Foerster Reed Grasses in individual 12”x12” plastic pots (with drainage) into three 12”x36” Corten outdoor steel planters. After about 3 weeks of frequent rainstorms and sun, they are looking very pale and brown, with the exception of 2. I did not add additional fertilizer when repotted but used organic indoor/outdoor potting mix. Can anyone please help diagnose if they have been overwatered by the rains, or under watered? What should I do next to help bring them back to health? I also ordered some liquid fertilizer to try if needed. Thank you!
Hey, all, I’ve noticed these little growths on the trunk of my umbrella tree. Not sure what they are, guessing they’re not good though. I’ve also noticed some white, tiny, little bugs on the leaves. Otherwise, the plant seems really really happy. Any thoughts?
Someone please help me get my elephant ear healthy!! I have tried putting it outside and adding fertilizer but I am out of ideas.

I have my nanouk and zebrina potted together. The nanouk is staying perfectly pink, but the zebrina is loosing its purple. It was bright purple till the last week or two. It’s under a grow light, 12 hours. Is that too much light? I thought more light, the brighter color for these?
I’m assuming this might not be an issue but just in case I want to get ahead of it. Is this yellowing a sign of anything? No pests spotted besides the normal mosquito and beetles. If beetles are an issue I do have a photo of one that I found chilling on my other plants. Looked harmless. Left is my bush beans I want insight on: The right is just the bug on one of my other plants
Hi everyone, this is my aloe plant I’ve head it for about a month now and it’s been transplanted for about as long. Recently I noticed these little white specks appearing in its soil. I’m worried it’s mold from accidental overwatering but I’m truly not sure what it really is. Advice would be appreciated!
Hi friends! My plant for a bit has been getting little spots like this and then some of the leaves are shriveling up. I can’t tell if this is because it wants more sunlight or not?? That’s my only guess. Any ideas?
These mites have spread to 3 of my outdoor plants! So mad! Starting treatment 😑 they’ve spread really fast and are everywhere! Even when I came inside after being out for a while, they were all over my shoes. I’ve started to take off my shoes before coming inside because I don’t want to spread them to my indoor plants.
My birkin has been pushing out so much new growth but they are ALL completely white, which turn brown and die off. Does anyone know what to do to get it to push out some green leaves again??
Hi! I was hoping someone could tell me what’s up with my adansonii. Her leaves are looking sad but she has some growth coming up…. Idk what’s happening 😓 I should mention she’s under a grow light for about 12h and I wait till she’s dry to water ..

what's wrong with this fishbone cactus? my mom just took it home from her office (bright light, watered every 2 weeks) and it looks... not good. is this caused by overwatering? should the affected stems/leaves be cut off? thanks in advance!
2 month old Rising sun red bud tree. I seen some black on tip of leaves. It gets 6 hrs of full sun. Have been watering 1 to 2 per week depending on local rain. It is mulched. Mulch is not touching stem. Please help.
So I am moving. I took all my plants to a friends house to be taken care of during the process (a little over a week). And now my mini rose is turning yellow. It was a little pale when I got it a couple of days ago and now they are full yellow. Does anyone know what is wrong and how I can help it? It’s sitting on the back porch currently. Morning sun and afternoon shade. I am watering it as soon as the soil looks dry and I am using a moisture meter to make sure the lower dirt is getting dry before watering again. Roughly every 3 - 4 days.
I’m a new plant owner. I just got my cactus about a month ago, and I only water it once a week. Anyone who knows anything about cacti know if I’m doing anything wrong?
This was a gift for Mother’s Day last year it’s a Cebu Blue pathos and she started loosing leaves when I moved her because of renovations, she never stopped loosing leaves ugh I’m so sad, 😔 is this a hopeless cause ? I don’t see any new growth or nodules on any of the stems. I’ve been keeping up with the watering because I’m hopeful, She did have a few leaves and I saved some because I was scared. The whole plant would die.
Please help This was a peace lily and even flowered last year. I had to move her location because we’re in the middle of renovations. I water her every eight days. The bottom soil feels damp, but the first few inches are dry, but I’m wondering if I should repot her into a smaller pot and just keep trying because there is one little growth I noticed. Is this hopeless I hate to throw her out.
My basil leaves are staying kind of folded like a taco even though I think it’s getting plenty of water, and the bottom leaves are turning a whitish-yellow color:/ I have no idea what this means, please help!
