Any idea what this white stringy stuff could be on my rubber tree plant? Mealybugs?
Is this due to shock from repotting or could there be something else that may be going on? I repotted my pothos about a week ago after purchasing it because it had 5 plants in one small pot. Now the leaves are drooping as if its thirsty.
Hi I purchased a Venus fly trap today and repotted in a 50/50 perlite and peat moss mix and watered with distilled water. Any tips to make this guy a bit happier/healthier? It appears the leaves are all droopy/laying down after repotting. First is when purchased and second is after repotting. Thanks in advance š
Hello! Does anyone know whatās going on with my plant? Sheās been growing quite a lot but the colors are still so off. I watered her yesterday.
Hi all, I have a new little red Robin, it's still in its nursery pot waiting to be planted in the big bed, the last week though it's started dying and I'm not sure why.. AFAIK it's already hardy for outdoor temps, we've had mixed sunshine and showers, the soil isn't dry but not sopping wet either and its been sat in a wind sheltered part sun spot of the garden... any help would be appreciated
Hey everyone! Any tips on why my dragon plant/tree is browning/yellow?š¢ itās in a dark corner of my room, but Iāve had it since June and it was loving it there!
Hi everyone! I am fairly new to being a Plant Mom , loving it and this app has helped me to keep them alive for so long. My snake plant looks unhappy. My guesses are I need to repot because thereās quite a few baby plants popping up in here OR it has had too much sun. What do you think? Both? I may try to move it out of direct sun for a bit. I think its new location was too bright.
Usually Iām pretty good at deducing or looking up whatās wrong with my plants, but this time Iām stumped. Iām unsure why my marble pothos is browning on the leaves as well as the stem. On the leaves, most of the browning is on the white portions. When the stem browns, it begins to spread up the section and kills it, it happened once before further down the stem so cut the section off so it wouldnāt spread. Since it came back despite me cutting the section off, I thought it might be root rot (despite the other pothos in the pot being fine). However, the roots have new growth and look completely healthy, if a little root bound. I also donāt fertilize very much, and donāt use any silica fertilizer despite it being a variegated plant (though I plan on getting some soon). Could this be whatās causing the plant to brown (again, since itās mostly on the variegated portions of the leaves)? Thereās also no pests that I can find either. Any thoughts on whatās happening, or what I should be searching to learn more about this issue would be greatly appreciated š Iād like to fully understand whatās going on before I try chopping up the vine to save at least part of the plant. Below Iāve provided images of the browning leaves, the blackening stem, and the plants roots
Hi plantie loves! My silver inch plant grows like a weed BUT the leaves near the top all dry up making her look really stringy while the leaves at the end are thriving. Do you have any ideas on why this is happening or tips on how to stop this?
Hey!! First time String Of Pearls owner herešŖ“! I got it a few months ago beautiful and long, but now the pearls are shriveling up towards the base š±šā¼ļø not sure if I'm over watering, under watering, too little sun or too cold (it's just starting to warm up where I live). Any and all advice on what to change/do to get her back to rocking would be appreciated.
What is this?! I had it on the bottom of some of my other plants - but is it bugs or plants- It kinda looks like spider eggs and mushrooms Iām lowkey freaking out but I also donāt wanna repot this massive plant (massive for me most of mine are tiny) It also kinda looks like mold???

Anyone know why my Chinese evergreen leaving are curling? I use a liquid fertilizer and Iāve never missed a watering and I mist it often, I keep it by the window but not in direct sunlight, and thereās no pests as far as I can see! Iām not sure what Iām doing wrongš

Olive tree yellowing! I took on a neighbours olive tree today and have noticed there are yellow leaves with black spots. I want to give it a good home and am not sure what the problem is? Google suggests too much water, not enough water or pests? How do I tell which it is and how to help? Any advice greatly appreciated āŗļø
I have several boxwood green velvets that are flourishing and ones that are not. The ones that are not are in the same location and are turning brown/red leaves and the others are not. They are also stunted in growth. We planted them last season. I live in zone 5a.
Just got this Monstera Mint tissue culture last week. Seem to be doing good. I Noticed today that a couple leaves are getting brown tips. Decided to pull to look at roots. They seem ok. Also switching soils again. Re-sterilized a batch and going to replant. Any tips. Thoughts?
Hiya, plant newbie here!! I was just wondering if i could get some advice for some of my plants i have before i get anymore! 3 of my plants (2 window-thrills and one unknown succulent) all have a red tinge to the edge of their leaves, is this okay? xx
Hey, would love some advice on one of my plants, a flamingo plant. Iāve had him for a little while now but iāve noticed a few brown/yellow-ish spots on his leaves - (see in photos). He was in a bit of a drafty area so iām going to move him away and I think i accidentally overwatered him the other week. I also have to admit iāve not been great at remembering to mist him!! Any advice would be great thanks xx Also i read someone that flamingo plants didnāt like tap water so i was giving him cooled down boiled water, is this correct?
Hello I have this oxalis and just recently the leaves have started to go like this⦠I only bought it 2 weeks ago and Iāve only watered it once. I had it on a kitchen table about 4ft from the French doors, but Iāve moved it to the windowsill now in a north facing garden.
