Spider mites, help! New plant mom. Growing my collection over last year and it’s been going so well. But I’ve noticed little white webs on all my plants. Started getting to occasional damaged or yellow leaf (May or may not be related) but want to squash this. ASAP. I’ve been using sexy plant spray to clean leaves weekly (70% iso alcohol, pprmt soap, neem oil, water mix, recommended often online). I bought some beneficial pest (but I think the ones I got only treat fungus knats). I did spray with cold water too. I can’t separate really cause my house is tiny and I have too many plants (bad lighting) and not enough plant lights to make that work. I live in Atlanta so it’s warm and I could move outside but I worry that’ll welcome MORE pest and come winter I’ll have a disaster when I move back indoors. Idk. Ideas? Advice?

I’ve had my gardenia for a few months now and it’s been watered, misted, and fertilized on schedule, give or take a day or two. I think it had spider mites a few weeks ago so I ran the whole thing under the faucet protecting the soil and I think it solved that issue. Now I’m getting a few green leaves dropping off when I check for mites during the watering schedule. I’m barely brushing the leaves up and they’re falling off. Any idea what’s going on?

My Thai con has been drooping lately and the soil was staying wet despite me not watering in at least 2 weeks. I recently repotted from a black nursery pot to a clear one but I up sized. I went to move her to a different area incase she just wasn’t happy where she was and I noticed her roots were black. I lost almost all her roots to rot. I downsized her pot what do you think she can recover?

What do you use to get rid of black knats ?

My Fred Ives Graptoveria has been dropping leaves and developing these spots before the leaves drop. Does anyone know what this is? A few months ago I had been treating with milk mixed with water to get rid of what I thought was a powdery mildew outbreak, but these spots look different than the ones on the other plants that have since recovered. I’ve also tried spraying with neem oil and moving them to a less sunny spot but haven’t been able to help them. Any tips would be appreciated!

Hello, I am posting regarding my apple tree. This just happened and I am concerned of what could be going on. The leaves are also coming off very easily. This had to just have started a couple days ago. I also noticed one of my apples was starting to rot,

I’ve been having some difficulty with my African violet for a while now. It started looking like this when it was still indoors so I thought it needed more sun and once it was warm enough I put it outside and even repotted it a few days ago but it’s still not doing well. I water it once or twice a week, not sure if thats too frequent. Not sure what’s going on and why.

I’m having trouble with my African Violet. She was so hearty and I’ve had her for years. I had to repot recently due to to green allege or fungus…but it’s back!? I’m also currently treating a fungus knot outbreak from a plant my son brought home. Maybe they are related?

Had a botrytis blight strike my plants in self-watering planters on my covered patio. I have majorly cut back on many of them, sprinkled with cinnamon and sprayed with Neem oil. My peony has majorly suffered from this and has brown creeping up its stems (normally green) from their base, but the leaves are healthy. Although I have had to remove stems with leaves that were fine one day and were totally limp the next. Is it the fungus eating through the stem? It only has two surviving stems left! How do I stop this?!?

Can somebody please help? My colour was doing so well before I went away for the week and now it is just pretty much Dad and I don’t know what’s wrong or how to help any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Guys! What on Earth just happened? I was examining my Christmas cactus and the whole thing just popped off. I’ve been watering her on an appropriate schedule. The rest of the plant looks fine. I’m so sad- can these pieces be propagated?

Can anyone tell me what these white things are on my Calethea??

Any tips on how to successfully grow Juncus Spirallis? It used to look nice. Now I have two “spirals” left and they start out green.. then turn to brown crisp.

Wish I could post video bc I think sometimes scale is overlooked bc it almost looks like part of the plant. Anyway, this is scale on a kangaroo paw fern

Hi I just wonder if anyone is having issues with Prayer plant? Mine is growing like CRAAAAZY with new flowers coming but at the same time it has crispy edges and bottom yellowing leaves. I follow Planta guide but feel like my plant needs more humidity and more frequent watering. See picture 🤓

I think my peace lily is starting to die, should I try and resoil today? I was gonna check out the roots to make sure there is no rot

What on earth is happening here and what should i do???? Ive never seen a philodendron leaf act like this. Its leaves are similar shape to a ”ring of fire”, but theyre all green. Do i help her unfurl, and if so HOW? It almost looks like two stems are connected to it lol
