I need some advice about this plant. It's a massive dieffenbachia that currently lives in my office. I repotted it when I bought it back in August but I think because of the density of the roots, I should have chosen an even bigger pot because it's needed water every 2-3 days. I was away from the office for Christmas and have only watered it twice in the past few weeks. It's been dropping a leaf weekly for a while but putting out new growth so I didn't worry about it. Now it's obviously struggling (looks worse in person) and even some of the leaves that aren't yellowing have dark spots on them or are soft. But it still has new growth. What do I do? I've started by watering to see if I can get some life back in it but I'm not sure if repotting will even help if a ton of leaves fall off. I don't want a bare trunk at the bottom. Is there a way to cut it and propagate a plant this big? There's also some smaller offshoots at the bottom that I could potentially separate but I've never done that before. Thoughts?

I recently got this olive tree in the mail. I was worried because it had been in transit for so long but it looked OK when I got it. I repotted it and put it in its new home and now all the leaves are drying up and falling off. Is that normal for olive trees in winter?

I’ve got this mini monstera that seems to be getting worse and worse despite getting enough light and water. Any ideas? It looks like the picture but a lot sadder now. It used to be a full plant.

Please help!! I have a shelf of plants that enjoy high humidity, and a couple months ago they have been overtaken by fungus gnats. I've tried neem oil (which did more harm than good - used too much), letting the soil dry completely, repotting twice, cinnamon, and diluted hydrogen peroxide. I have yellow sticky traps for the adults, but I can't seem to kill off the eggs. Systemic house plant granules are illegal in California so I can't use those, and my local hardware store didn't have mosquito bits. Is there anything else I can try? I'm sick of them flying around my room, and have noticed how they're detrimental to my plants. Plus, I don't want to buy any new plants now and expose them to the gnats 😓 Any help is greatly appreciated!

My alocasia golden bone has lived in water for a while now (over a year). It was doing good, growing, flowering, then its leaves started to die (I thought cycling) but it hasn’t produced any new growth in months and it’s drooping. Granted it’s winter over here, but coupled with this new leaf damage, I’m worried. What could be wrong with it? Nothing knocks into it.

I have the worst luck with Pepperomias🥲🤦🏻‍♀️. I went to water him and his roots completely rotted and broke off. I put the pieces in tubes to propagate them. Will it work?

Found this spider in my room after cleaning up some pebbles from my lemon tree that had webbing. Now a bunch of my plants have webbing. Anyone know what kind of spider this is? I live in New Jersey. My lemon tree was outside this summer so maybe it was living in the soil for awhile?

Prayer plant dying. Hi! I am a beginner plant owner. I’ve been doing really good at keeping all my plants alive and well besides ONE. This prayer plant has been causing me so many issues. Does anyone know what is wrong with it? He been making sure to water it well, checking to make sure it is not over watered, it does not get direct sunlight but gets indirect. I checked for root rot and there is nothing. Any ideas? Thanks!

I’ve never seen leaves wilt like these. Does anyone know what’s going on? The leaves have been dying off for about 3 months now. I’ve checked for bugs and everything was ok. I also repotted her into a bigger pot. I just can’t seem to find the issue.

Was wondering if I should remove the lower 2 leaves? Or the half leaf to help my plant focus on new growth?

Hi! I've been growing african violets for a while now and never run into so many problem with the one I have right now. I've only ever own 2 and the first one died due to falling and the crown broke of the roots. The one I have now, I've had for 3 year now and she's not doing good. I named her Vivi. A couple months ago she started to grow pups. She was doing great until they broke off prematurely. Since then her crown has scar over and she hasn't grown a new leaf in a couple months. A couple weeks ago someone dropped her and broke a couple of her leaves and had let them rot. Now she has absolutely no leaves. I put her in a small greenhouse setup to promote humidity and growth, but I'm scared she'll get crown rot. Any suggestions or even just some help one what her condition is?

Hey everyone hope your all having an amazing first day of 2026! I was curious what signs of root rot are in a spider plant without looking at the roots? I’m kind of worried about my plant I searched online for signs but I wanna now how to tell if it’s truly root rot at only a certain level of a symptom or if it is there at all. I’m new to plant care my spider plant is my first plant I’ve owned and I want him to live for atleast a year
