HELP! I got this Jade plant from my friend and her house was around 65 degrees. It has not liked my house(around 75degrees) and was about 3x as voluminous when I first got it. Since then it has been dropping good leaves and yellowing ones. I’ve given it different amounts of light moving it around my house too. Please help! He’s dyingggg!! 😭😭 what should I do??
I posted about Ruby, my ruby cascade who hadn’t been thriving. I decided the repot her because she seemed to be in a potting soil that was holding onto too much water. I also bought a watering meter, which has been fantastic. She’s now in a plastic pot with drainage and chunky soil. I have her in my east facing window with direct view of the sky. Do you think she looks OK? I might be over optimistic but I think she looks slightly perkier and fewer leaves are dropping. I was nervous about repotting her because I damaged my pepperspot with repotting and probably killed her.
While bringing some of my larger plants outside for a nice sunny day, I discovered this yellow slime/mold/fungus in the pot of Roger, my large philodendron and gateway plant. It appears to be otherwise healthy. I suppose this is what I get for putting the plant on a shelf taller than I am. When I had it on the ground my dog took a bite out of a new leaf (she’s okay!) and was unhappy for a few days. Any advice? Should I be concerned or is this just a weird benign fuzz? Apologies for the undies on the rack. Dog tax included.
Do you think this is spider mites or an actual spider? I see a badly shaped web on my plant that doesn’t seem to have any real purpose like a real spider’s web would which leads me to believe this may be a spider mite issue 😞 Please give opinions so I can treat asap or leave a little guy alone!
Its my first time taking care of an hydrangea and all of the flowers dried out :( The app suggests its a fungus, but what do you all think ?
So I had to leave for 2 weeks and hired a plant sitter who did quite well on all my plants except this Norfolk pine. It seems to have been over watered as the soil is soggy. I gave it an immediate drying out and repot into better soil, removed the rotted roots and yellow branches, but there are these curled branches that aren't all gone but slightly more firm than the soft flexible branches of a healthy pine. Anybody have anything that could help? (The lighter green branches spotted around are okay but I'm not sure how much longer they have or if they are going to be fine.
Helllpppp. I clipped this leaf about a week ago and it’s still browning. Am I over watering? Does it need to be upsized into a bigger pot?
This beautiful Milky Way Plant is flaming out. I see enough green in it to think I might be able to revive it. Does any one have any insight? Is this overwatering… or under? I want to stage an intervention for this stressed plant but I don’t know what to do. I threw a grow light on it out of desperation an hour ago.
Hi guys! Someone please help this plant was so beautiful when I got it about two months ago and I think I was over watering it because there was a lot of soft yellow leaves so I haven’t watered it in quite a while and the soil is very dry but it looks like this, and I cut all of the Leaves off that were yellow when I first realized it was overwatered so all of this has happened within the past week or so and these photos.
I’m not sure what to do. Please help! It rained a lot while I was gone for the day and a lot of water was just sitting. I dumped out a lot of the water and created another hole at the bottom of the pot. I cut off a lot of the dead flowers already and leaves. I will cut off that flower. I have watered it a few times because it’s been in the 90s. I’m not sure exactly if I should take it out and repot it, or what. Please help me!!!
I initially was so excited about my dumb cane dieffenbachia when I first bought it.. but it’s not full and bushy like I would like. I’m kinda over it.. but how can I fix “leggy” plants?? Help!! 😥
Please help! My beautiful Hope is crying for help and I don’t know what’s wrong. I’ve had this plant for almost two years, she’s put out maybe two leaves in that time but has been dropping leaves like crazy recently and droopy. She’s in a south/west window, humidity is pretty normal in my apt, I water regularly, mist, and I’ve never seen bugs on her
My Monstera is super happy and healthy but the bottom leaves are starting to droop and are really weak. I know I’m not over or underwatering it. Does anyone have a tips or advice on what I might be doing wrong? It was perfectly fine until about 2 weeks ago
How can I help this plant? It has been struggling since the day I got it and I'm afraid it's slowly dying.
Okay new to this kind of beauty- keep this in mind 😅 Bought this bad boy about 4 months ago, and now it’s turning yellow. Been treating for spider mites with insecticidal soap once a week, haven’t really been watering because the soil has been pretty damp. Happened to another leaf but figured it was the spider mites, so I cut it off (was a smaller leaf at the bottom) What is happening?!
I have this plant that I got a while back & for some reason, the pot had molded & molded my windowsill. The mold count is already high in this apartment as it is so I figured maybe that’s what caused it. My question is, do I need to throw this pot away? If not, how do I get this stuff to completely go away. I always clean the outside of it when I refill the water but it ALWAYS comes back. I believe it’s terracotta too, I thought terracotta was supposed to be breathable?? The plant itself though is growing fine though!
Does anyone know why my money tree is getting this coloring? This is a new development.
Hard to see but I have these tiny black, slow moving, non-flying bugs on my dieffenbachia. Popped up earlier this week. I isolated it from my other plants (other plants do not have them) and sprayed a neem oil solution on it. It’s in its original nursery pot from when I bought it. My thoughts were repotting and using neem oil weekly. Thoughts? Ways of going about it?
Curling top leave on my Chinese evergreen. Still a newbie here, but not sure if this is healthy or not? Reported her a few weeks ago,
