So due to current circumstances I can’t repot my plants into pots with drainage holes or drill holes in their existing pots. Meanwhile how can I avoid giving them root rot? I’ve been trying to wait longer until watering them, pouring excess water out of their pots, but I don’t know if it’s been effective.
Help! I purchased this Peace Lily back in November. Each wee for the last three weeks I’ve lost a single flower that turned brown. Several are now green. What am I doing wrong and how do I keep her healthy?

Hi all, Please may someone help with my new addition! A little Monstera adansonii variegated I was bought for my birthday. (18th Jan) (I’m still new to being a plant mum and still learning all the time). 🌱 It got delivered by Royal Mail in freezing temps and was left in a box outside for a few hours. Got it inside and it looked so sad and droopy. It’s perked up a bit now but all the leaves are getting brown patches on, including my new shoot! Wondering if the plants just in shock from the frost? I’ve also just purchased a grow light (3 days ago), I have read that the variegated species need more light as the leaves struggle with photosynthesis. I tend to keep this on for about 6-8 hours a day. And water every 8 days. Is there anything else I should be doing or not doing? Should I just see if the plant improves now with the grow light? Thanks 🌱💚
Hey y’all! My Transcendentia Nanouk just started showing these tiny tan spots and areas. Is everything okay? I know it’s not too much water and I have her on my window where she gets bright light (same as my other plants) is there anything else that could be causing this?

Hey everybody! I just picked up this fiddle leaf fig from Aldi that was looking real rough. I cleaned it up and cut off its dying/dead leaves, but I just checked the soil with my moisture meter and it’s dry/moist, but WET near the bottom. What should I do about this? Should I empty it out and mix all the dirt up and repot it in the same pot, or should I just leave it until it dries out. I just don’t want the roots to rot… Thanks for your help!
what in the world is happening to my zz?? discoloration on the leaves, white/dead spots and what looks like nibble holes, as well as yellowing tips while still maintaining happy waxy stripes along the stems. she has recently been moved to a slightly shadier spot. she has tolerated my neglectful watering well until now. pests? disease?

I got my venus fly trap about 3 weeks ago. It’s doing well overall, but last night I noticed little black bugs crawling around. There’s none flying, just crawling around the plant. They are do small I couldn’t get a pic but here’s a pic of my plant m. Any advice appreciated :)

I just noticed this white, like fuzz on top of the soil at the base of my fiddle leaf fig. I assume it’s some kind of mold or a fungus? The plant looks perfectly normal and healthy. But this just showed up out of the blue. Anybody know what it is and how to treat it? I’d love to hear from you. Thanks ahead of time.
hi! i got this gorgeous rhipsalis a week ago. i have it categorized as baccifera but it could be campos-portoana? anyway i noticed today that it has a lot of tan, woody spots & areas throughout. (looking back on the first photos, these tan areas have been there since day 1) the spots do not wash off or scrape off. it almost looks like the plant just hardens in these areas. i looked closely & found no pests. the plant has a lot of new growth & seems pretty happy otherwise. does anyone know if this is normal?
I’ve been using little tea bags to soak my mosquito bits into my plant water. Figured I’d share this idea in case someone else finds it useful. Certainly makes it easier to remove from the water.
So my baby here is doing good for the most part… she has new growth regularly. Every time a leaf turns yellow I prune it off. I’m seeing these weird spots on the leaves now though. Seems like egg sacks of some sorts? Any suggestions on what it is or how to safely get rid of it?
