Stubborn water stains or mildew? I bought this huge gorgeous Hoya (Reef Rider) yesterday who was very dusty from a local Mennonite-owned nursery. I rinsed her off in the shower and wiped down her leaves but these stains are still here. Should I treat her for mildew to be safe? When I wiped more aggressively some of it came off.
I got this for free on marketplace. Do you think itâs gonna survive or is it rotten on the nodes and roots? Itâs some sort of variegated monstera. Not sure what kind
Okay so Iâm freaking out. đ„Č I found thrips on my Adansonii and this is the first time Iâm ever dealing with pests. I was searching my plants like a madwoman last night. I ordered Captain Jacks dead bug and Bonide systemic houseplant insect controlâŠ. I took two plants completely out of their nursery pots and soaked them completely in water, Insecticide, a little bit of alcohol and Peppermint Castile soap⊠For a couple of the plants I used a spray bottle with Neem Oil, Alcohol and Peppermint Castile Soap and sprayed the leaves front and back and did the Granules. For the rest of my plants, I sprayed the leaves with the captain Jacks and the top layer of soil and then added the Granules to the top layer of soil. I wiped all the leaves front and back after using the Captain Jacks. These are all the plants below that I did and theyâre âQuarantinedâ in my bathroom that has no window so I have a grow light not on full capacity but just so they can have light⊠Can someone let me know if Iâm doing this right?! đ and how long they would need to stay away from their homes? lol I have seen several different ways of doing it which I think is why I decided to try a few different waysâŠ. Also just being afraid lol. Thank you to anyone who actually takes the time to read this and respond to this overwhelmed plant mom. đ

Any recommendations for my gardenia? I bought it about a month ago. The flowers dropped first, and now some of the leaves are starting to turn yellow. Itâs currently in bright shade and gets a little afternoon sun. Any ideas on what might be causing this or what I should do?

What is wrong with my Peace Lily?
I don't know what is going on with my variegated False Aralia. It was doing great about 2 weeks ago. The left stem has a its leaves completely brown, crispy, and shriveled while the leaves on the other stem look normal. Any advice on how to save this plant?

Why is my ZZ plant leafs turning yellow? Also can I repot it yet?
I adopted this Zz plant from a friend who moved to a different state. I've had it since around the middle of November 2025. I'm not sure when the last time it got repotted was and this is my first time owning one of these plants. I'm just wondering if I should repot it now or wait. There's 1 drainage hole in the current pot.

My beautiful 12 year old hoya! We moved house six weeks ago and now a lot of her leaves are fading, sheâs got brown spots, and a few completely yellow or brown leaves. There are also a couple of leaf patches that seem kind of transparent. Would it just be shock or sunburn or over / under watering? Or some kind of pest? Iâm worried because I found a mealy bug on her neighbour, but i checked all her leaves and stems thoroughly and canât find any bugs or sticky stuff. Also checked her roots and they seem super healthy with no rot or anything. There was also one white clump of something that might have been webbing in between some leaf stems. (She was a lil dusty so it might have just been cat hair but it was like 2am and Iâm an arachnophobe and my brain convinced me it was either webs or a whitetail egg sac so immediately cut off the stem and binned it). Sheâs been living on neglect and inconsistent watering for most of her life before i knew better. I think i even had her in a pot of peat with no drainage at one point đŹ but sheâs always looked pretty healthy and happy until now!
Hi, My philodendron black cardinal fell & damaged one of the stem/leaf area. Itâs not fully snapped & the bend is closer to the base of the leaf area. Iâve currently staked the area to give it more support, but should I just cut away the area? Photos are of the bend with/without stake. Thanks!
Do yâall guys know what happened to Cheese my monstera plant? Two of her leaves are a lighter color than the others, I am guessing it may be too much light but I donât know. I hope she gets betterđ.
