Hi, can anyone identify what’s wrong with this plant! It’s a ‘Celosia red hot topic’. I planted it 3/4 weeks ago. 4th image is when I bought it. 3rd image is just 5 days ago. 1st & are today - looking very sad. It has been especially hot this week, but I’ve watered it more than usual. Not sure if I’m under-watering/over-watering or what! Any help would be great :)

I have a silverline succulent and I need to get pesticide for her plant because of bugs, what pesticide should I use/buy and is there anything at home I could also use??

I had read something about thrips, and I’m reeeeally hoping this isn’t what’s got my Alocasia. Can anyone tell: 1) if that’s what it is, and if so, how to best treat it; and, 2) if not, what is it, and how can I treat it? It was doing so well 😔

Hi, so I’m not sure what’s going on with my sunflowers. They are Velvet Queens. This is my first outdoor garden and I’m not sure what’s wrong or what’s going on with the leaves. Can anyone maybe identify what these little holes are and if they are harmful to my garden and how to maybe fix? TIA!

Hello everyone! I have a question. I bought my first monstera and it had been cut in some places when I bought it. The cut sections don't look great but I'm not sure what to do with them. Do I leave them alone or completely cut them right off? I'm by no means an expert in plants but I've always wanted this one so I need to make sure she's as happy as she can be. Don't judge my pot, this is what it came in, I'm just letting it get use to my house before changing to much. :) thanks

hi friends, looking to see if anyone has any suggestions for how to help my poor medusa head. i’ve had this plant for a couple years now, and she had always been pretty low maintenance. one day, i noticed a bunch of her tentacles starting to turn yellow and fall off, which i recognized as a symptom of root rot. i did have her in a pot with a drainage hole, but upon taking her out, i realized the drainage hole had gotten severely impacted at some point. she was probably sitting in damp soil for much longer than she should’ve been, and since she was always one of the lower priority plants, i let her go way too long without noticing. i repotted her about 9 weeks ago, and her soil has remained decently damp so i haven’t given her regular watering. i have misted her though. i also want to note that i am using a grow light indoors for her. before all this happened, i kept her outside in the winter but took her in for the summer, as i live in the desert and haven’t been successful leaving cascading succulents like this outside during the intense heat. it was when i moved her in for the summer that i noticed her poor health. as you can see in the photos, she must’ve lost 75% of her tentacles, and they’re continuing to turn yellow and fall off *much* quicker than any regrowth is happening. she’s also pretty loose in the soil, as in she hasn’t really rooted down and if i wanted to i could probably lift her straight out of the dirt without doing any digging. there is a little bit newer growth on top, from many months ago, that is still green and healthy looking. i’m hoping there’s a way to save this top growth even though her base is starting to look like a lost cause. any advice, personal experience, or general anecdotes would be greatly appreciated. eternal thanks for taking the time to read this post 🌱💚

My friend gave me this pup off of her huge aloe plant 2 months ago. It has started to form these strange brown spots on the tips of a few leaves, and turn slightly purple in some other areas. I was wondering if I could be overwatering it? I’ve been only doing so when Planta tells me to and the soil is dry. So in summary, what are these brown spots and what am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Chinese Evergreen Struggling Had this guy since at least 2015 living in a compact vase. About a month ago I repotted him. There were so many roots all bundled up, and the soil had the consistency of mud, so it felt like the right call. However, he still hasn’t recovered, and leaves are still droping. The soil is also infested with fungus gnats I’m trying to get rid of.

This is my Annabelle Hydrangea. I'm new to gardening, what could be the issue? I can't tell if I'm over or under watering. When I water, I make sure the soil needs it with the second knuckle depth test. Usually once per day. It gets about 8hr full sun. When I transplanted it from the plastic pot on June 9th, it was a very hot 30c day, could it still be recovering? Many of the other plants I planted on the same day died back a bit as well, but are slowly recovering. Zone 4b. Thanks!

Who is this little creature and why is he here? He came from my bougie fiddle leaf fig …i don’t think she’s gonna like this very much …might die later because of it 😂

This guy, a young squash, has two new flowers blossoming (and one might even be female!) and seems pretty healthy EXCEPT for these white spots on his leaves. What’s wrong with him? Soil is damp on top but dry on the bottom. Planta can’t successfully diagnose this.

Help! My monsteras leaves are curling under and kind of droopy. They were outside and it’s been pretty hot lately so I decided to bring them inside. Could it be too warm for them? Their soil is still moist. The humidity was above 60%. Idk what im doing wrong 😭

Does anyone have any idea what these white things are coming up in my soil for my mandevilla? It looks like fungus of some kind, and it just popped up today. Any ideas?

Can anyone help me save my poor pepperspot peperomia? She has just been in steady decline since I got her. She wasn’t doing well so I repotted her with a chunky soil. I used the hormone powder on her roots to help minimize shock. I only water when she’s dry on the top two inches of soil and make sure she gets the right amount of sun in my eastern facing window. Maybe I just have to wait a bit and leave her alone since she was repotted? Since then she keeps losing leaves every day. Any other recommendations? She’s my favorite and the only plant I have that is really struggling.

Has anyone ever gotten mushrooms on their aloe vera plant before? 😳 These seemingly popped up over night because I don’t remember seeing them before…
