somebody heeeeelp! is this a fungus? how can I save it? it’s located in the bathroom
Does anyone know what these white spots are on my mint plant? It’s not on all the leaves but it has shown on some of my catnip leaves as well. It doesn’t rub off, there’s no transfer or change when I touch it, and I don’t see any signs of pests.
I don’t know what’s happening with my rose has many little ants or green insects 😮
Is something wrong with my Zebrina? The leaves are all droopy and sad :(
I repotted my jade plant because I noticed these white spots. She’s in regular soil. When I repotted her, some leaves broke off. She’s leaning and just looks unhappy. According to the internet, I may have overwatered. Her stem is also veiny brown.
Can anyone give me their opinion on what they might think is wrong with my Shefflera? I bought him from the store like this. I usually look through for the healthiest but was in a hurry and got too excited. It’s got these brown/black spots under neath and on the stems. Looks like blobs. My guess is fungus or root rot. I repotted him once he got home. Didn’t look to hard at the rootsSide note.. his name is Scottie lol. He’s been in a new pot for about a month now. Had new growth when I bought him and is continuing to do so. Should I repot him again and maybe spray the roots down with a hydrogen peroxide and water mix?? He’s pretty healthy looking overall but the stems even have these weird black/brown bumps. Help I love him 🥺
What’s going on here? Why is the bottom of this so fuzzy? The nursery pot sits in a ceramic planter pot. Do I need to treat this? Repot? Thanks!
Hi, all! New plant parent here. My sweet husband thought he was helping by putting my pothos outside to get some sun…but then left them outside for two days 😩 any advice on how to care for them??
My first plant, picked up from lowe’s 1 month ago, wondering if it needs any extra water? the leaves are wilting at the end of the pothos and some have holes in them. same with the corn plants leaves
Is this a fungal infection?
Need advice on curing Rosa’s powdery mildew: I’ve got neem oil spray, baking soda, peroxide, peppermint oil, and some unscented antibacterial hand soap. Will any of those work? How much can I cut off without killing her? Does she need special care after getting chopped and covered in anti fungal stuff?
I love it 🥰😍
Anybody know what this is or how to get rid of him? I picked up a beautiful looking inch plant at a yard sale, came home to report, and several of these little guys were in the soil 😧😧
Can someone help me figure out why my Cuprea's leaves are facing downwards? It's such a beautiful plant, but I can't see it's leaves. Its a couple feet away from a window.
My son was gifted an air plant from his brother for Christmas. It came in this tall glass jar with a cork ball as stopper for the top. He was misting it pretty regularly and it was getting some light from his open window and a grow light. It looks super dry - is it dead? Is this even remotely salvageable? I know nothing about these plants.
Popped up literally overnight, same place as the other issues I’ve had with things appearing!
Does this look like damping off? my dill sprout started tipping over today so i checked out the roots and this is how it looks, is there any saving this?
My pepper plants have a little black on the stem “pit” like where the branch out meets the main stem. Any thoughts on why?
Hi everyone! Any thoughts on whether this guy is salvageable? If so, how? I had this plants for a few years and it’s just slowly died of root rot (I just joined Planta and learned about root rot). Anyway I tried water therapy, which did nothing. Then I let him dry out for a few days. Next repotted him in a succulent mixture and that went ok. Then I bottom watered him and he started turning yellow :( Is it time to send him to succulent heaven?
Lost almost all of a beautiful Frydek to spider mites a few weeks ago and had to do a radical cut back, scrubbed top and bottom of the leaves, treated the roots and moved it to leca. He looks like a shell of himself 😫 but I checked on him this morning ( he’s in isolation still) and dare I say I see NEW GROWTH!! I will have to cut back a couple more tiny leaves I hoped would survive but have clearly gone on to a plant place in the sky. Just excited to see there is hope and so far no other babies seem to have been infested. 🤞🏾
