My son was gifted an air plant from his brother for Christmas. It came in this tall glass jar with a cork ball as stopper for the top. He was misting it pretty regularly and it was getting some light from his open window and a grow light. It looks super dry - is it dead? Is this even remotely salvageable? I know nothing about these plants.

    They do best if you soak them at least once a month.

    I soak mine every week and a half to two weeks for about 20 minutes or so. That one looks pretty gone to me, sorry. 🫤

    If you manage to save it, I wouldn’t put it back in the glass jar. They don’t do well in closed/mostly closed containers. Otherwise his care sounds pretty spot on. I hope you are able to save it 🤞🏻
