I live in a small apartment and am having a major fruit fly/drain fly/fungus gnat problem. What should I do, it looks like I have them in my shower and sink drain, they also like the bathroom trash can?? Idk what products I should get. I’m on a pretty tight budget because I’m in college and just generally need any recommendations to be affordable. Theres like a million plants in the apartment and I live with two other girls. One of the people I live with has a tendency to leave half eaten food lying around either in her room, or the kitchen and the sink. My plants didn’t have anything before moving in because the first few weeks there was no problem then my roommate brought her plants and they started showing up everywhere, but we changed the soil before she brought her plants so that wouldn’t happen… anywho now I’m just ranting lol. Help would be majorly appreciated.

What’s wrong with my white philodendron? All of the white parts have turned brown.
How do I help this poorly African violet?
Any ideas what this may be on my fiddle leaf? I found this plant outside my apartment building and it doesn’t have pests and overall seems very healthy with lots of new growth. I just wonder what his is from
Is this from over or under watering?? This isn’t where I keep my monstera btw I just put it here while I was cleaning. I have another monstera in the same room/same lighting (I’m pretty sure) and it doesn’t have any damaged or yellowing leaves
Need help with this jade! My mother’s jade was doing well until she came back from a 2 week vacation and noticed these white and grey spots. It’s a little droopy because the watering was late but it has since been watered. Anyone know what the discoloration is and how to deal with it?
HOW DO I SAVE HIM😭 dont mind my cat photo bombing😂
How can I save this?
I saw another post similar to this with the same kind of plant and now I’m paranoid. Do you think I have spider mites? New growths but the base seems so crunchy and there are lots of browning edges. I do use tap water so maybe that’s it?
What is going on with this plant it has white stuff all over it plus I've found very small spider web oh the spider web is on the stem and on top of the soil
I got this Chinese evergreen in the mail this past Monday. The roots were wrapped in a wet paper towel, and some of them had gone black and mushy. Since then, I trimmed the bad roots and one of the very yellowing leaves, but a couple others are now starting to yellow. I also put the plant in a soil mixture with perlite and orchid bark. Is there any saving her?
Does anyone know why I get these yellow leaves in my Xanadu philodendron? It isn’t overwatered and I am vigilant about checking for/treating pests. There always seems to be at least one yellowed leaf. Is this just normal for this plant?
help! my chinese money plant is STRUGGLING. she is very wobbly snd she had around ten leaves when i got her and she's down to 5. no new growth except for the little leaf that was there when i got it. she's in indirect light, chunky soil which kind of drains fast now that i'm thinking about it, and i water according to the app. i know the app is more of a reminder but honestly i have no idea how often to water her. i checked on the roots and they are probably the smallest, shortest, and thinnest known to man. any tips are greatly appreciated!
My Aralia stump lost all her leaves exept for a few. The person I left in charge of her care didnt water her. Is there any hope of survival?
Snake Paul had these spots on this leaf and trying to understand how to help him
Hey guys, newbie here and needing some help. I have a dracaena reflexa and I am struggling with it. I CANNOT let this plant die as It was from my grandmas funeral and I just can’t. I was following the apps recommendations and I believe over watered it. I’ve since removed the plant from the pot dried out the soil checked for root rot and replanted it… but I’m still worried. The soil is considered dry according to my indicator but I don’t want to over water the plant. Any advice from you all would be greatly appreciated because again I can’t let this plant go. The first picture is before I replanted it because the leaves were falling off. The second was after I replanted it. Which I feel is still damaged from the over watering. The leaves have since drooped but they are still attached… what can I do? Or is it too late?
My ring of fire is now spotted. It's under a grow light for 12 hours per day, in a chunky soil mix and with a lot of other plants. Is this a fungus? Copper leaf spot?
Help one of my Rebillini Palm tree is dying. One of the small trunk on back of the main tree already lost all leaves and just have a hole in the middle. The second small trunk on the left of the main one is now doing the same, the leaves are dry and no new ones are coming out. Looks like is dying also. It was doing really well and all of suddenly it started to dry. I been watering it bass on Planta advise, since I don’t have the sprinklers on that side on. I think I put weed killer too close to the plant, not sure. Please help. Can I still save those two trunks? Thank you in advance.
I can seem to keep most plants alive but not sure about this olive tree. It was gifted to me by my landlord. She dropped it off a couple weeks ago. It looked great then. But the leaves keep falling off and not sure how to fix it. Help please!
My umbrella plant had a sudden growth sprout and has around 5 different branches growing simultaneously. I am worried about the weight as it has already started to tilt. Is this normal or should I do something.
