I keep getting a white fungus on the soil of a couple o plants. I tried the natural remedies and it works for a while. I don’t want to throw my plant away It’s not a pest problem. I tried vinegar and baking soda and peroxide and even cinnamon. Help!!! I don’t overwater my plants and I use distilled water on my plants. It’s only affecting two of my plants

I was gifted this new baby today 🥹💗 however I feel like it may have powdery mildew? I sprayed the spots with a baking soda mixture that I read up on, wondering if there was anything else I could possibly do, or if maybe somebody thought it was something else. I read somewhere else that said to cut the infected leaves, but it’d break my heart to do that, so I want that as my last option 🥺

Hi!! This is my first time dealing with fungus gnats (I’m assuming that’s what it is), and I’ve tried everything from sprays to a homemade mixture of sugar, soap and vinegar to get them gone! They seem to only be in these two plants (a pothos and what will be wildflowers, if it grows), but they just won’t go away! I think it’s the eggs that keep them going, cuz the spray kills the adults. Any ideas or recommendations or tricks to get rid of them are greatly appreciated!! They’ve been going on for about a month and a half, and the pothos came from Walmart outside, so I’m assuming that’s where they came from.

Sprayed my bird’s nest fern with neem oil. I have done this many times before but somehow this go around there was too much neem oil in my solution. My poor baby ended up getting burned. Is there any way I can save her or is this the end? Any tips will be appreciated.

Split Leaf Philodend
My split leaf philodendron gets this yellowing on leaves. It’s under a grow light for 12 hours. Don’t know if that is 2 much? I water when dry, started using general house plant fertilizer. Any thoughts?

Can anyone give me some insight on my hydrangeas? The leaves aren’t browning, but they’re wilting around the edges. Transplanted into the ground about a month ago there’s one branch standing straight up in the others are laying down , overwatered or underwatered?

For Canada, what’s the best pest spray for indoor plants. And well as a liquid fertilizer food??!
Thank you so much!

First time plant owner here! Does anyone know if these little brown spots mean anything regarding the health of my plant? I’ve had this plant for a few months and the spots are relatively new and I was just wondering if it’s a sign of a disease or anything else.

Can someone say why this is happening? Don’t think overwatering is the problem.

My african candelabra fell from a high perch on my balcony 2-3 weeks ago and bent like this, now it looks like the damaged part is dying 😔 Is it safe for the plant if I cut the damaged part off?

i’m so confused why my satin pothos is all of the sudden so unhappy. i got him off his water schedule and probably overcompensated for it, but he had been bone dry for a while and when i watered again he freaked out. the yellow makes me think overwatering but i don’t even know how that’s possible. i changed out the soil as well and roots looked fine. 🤦♀️

Hello all, my bonsai ficus is getting quite tall, as you can see in the picture. Is this normal? Should I prune it? I appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Hello! I picked up this chinese money plant from a greenhouse last week ish and i tried to snag the least damaged one. When i brought it home i wiped the leaves because it looked to have hard water stains on it and I noticed a couple little brown spots. I didn’t think too much of it because it’s probably just damage from handling at the store but i just wanted to make sure. I think the little dents on the one leaf (in photo 1) were from where I tried to remove it with a cloth to see if it would come off but it didn’t feel right scratching at the leaf like that. I didn’t continue to try and remove them, and the rest of the plants at the store seemed to also have the same marks, but it’s pushed out a new little leaf since I got it and other than the blemishes it seems to be doing great! it’s still in the nursery pot i got it in with drainage holes too.
thanks! :)

Sorry for another post but it has NOT been a good plant weekend. Anyone have any thoughts on what this black discoloration on my Hoya Chelsea is?? Disease? Too close to a grow light?
