Please HELP!!! You need background info for this question, I always check my soil with chopsticks to make sure my soil is completely dry, and I add perlite and orchid bark to my soil as well. The question is, why is only half of my soil drying out recently? The top half is dry but the bottom half will not dry out, it just started happening since i last watered my plants.
Out of no where these holes started appearing on Stephen. Theyre only on new growth, and I don’t see any signs of pests. I really haven’t changed any routines with this plant recently so I’m not sure what’s going on. How can I fix this?

Just found these little clear bugs on my aloe plant that I just repotted in new soil about a week ago. They are crawling all over the soil and pot and I noticed a fungus gnat fly away when I picked it up.. what are these things??? Should I do a neem oil drench??

Should I cut this stem and put in water? Replant in new soil? This is an Umbrella Plant. (Schefflera)
This is my pink dragon: photo on the left is the newest leaf & photo on the right is the same plant different leaf for reference. What the heck happened to the newest leaf?? Never seen this before. Please help! She has another leaf pushing out & I want to try & prevent it!
