why are they leggy? should i just fill up with more soil?
I canât seem to figure out what is happening to my Homalomena plant. The leaves keep getting more and more yellow and dying and I donât know if she needs water or if she is over watered. Any suggestions?
Can anyone tell me whatâs going on with my rubber plant. It is only on one leaf.
Anyone know why the tips of my dragon scale Alocacia is turning yellow?
hi! canât quite place the issue here- not over or under watered. i even keep her by a humidifier (when my central air is on). when i brought her home in late May, i noticed pests so i repotted and pruned her. sheâs been fine but within the last couple of weeks i noticed yellowing and i just noticed sheâs oozing sap. i cleaned her with alcohol/neem. added pics for closer inspection if thatâs helpful. anyone had similar issues? if so, is it worth the maintenance? appreciate any response. thanks
Is this bad? I repotted this bird yesterday and now the leaves are all curled in. It has plenty of waterâŠ. đ€
Itâs watering day and I just noticed mold (?) on my plant. Iâm going to replace the dirt but how do I avoid this next time.
I honestly donât know what I did wrong. They have enough sunlight, and I allow them to thoroughly dry before I water it
Hello! Please help đ I got this beautiful Alocasia Jacklynn from one of my local nurseries & her newer growth/smaller leaves are turning yellow & their stems are now drooping & donât have any strength at all. Can anyone tell me whatâs going on and how to help them out đđđŒ The yellow is now & the green is when I bought it đ„ș
Alocasia did really well the first week I got it, then the oldest leaf got weird coloration and so I cut it. Then it got a huge spider mite infestation out of no where, used dish soap and wiped it, neemed oil it, then no new infestation. Repotted it due to the mites and Now the next oldest leaf is discoloring.
Send help!! Iâve tried watering more, watering less, regular misting, more sunlight, less sunlight⊠Iâm not sure whatâs wrong?
Here is my money tree. All of its âoriginalâ leaves (those there when I bought it) are dark green, and all of the new growth is light green. Is this ok? Is something wrong? I water every 10 days and mist daily. Thank you!
No diseases, pests or problems to report, but I want to avoid them. I need some advice on this little guy - successfully delivered in fine shape via Mountain Crest. I hear âput it in a shady spotâ and âbright light encourages coloringâ and on and on. Anyone have some actual experience with (non-grafted) Gymnos of this variety? ps I see some green growing in-between some ribs. Looks healthy, just the opposite way I thought this would go lol.
Help please! Planta recommends discarding my mother of millions due to this mildew substance⊠before noticing the white powdery ick on the leaf ends, I clipped each stem as they were getting quite leggy. Iâd rather save her if I can. Any suggestions??
Is this mold or mineral deposits on my plants soil? I had a problem with what I thought was mold for these Chinese evergreens 2 weeks prior, so I changed out the soil and added some materials to help with drainage. I then watered them and 5 days later I saw what I thought was mold developing so I watered them with a hydrogen peroxide mix and added cinnamon to remove and prevent mold growth. I have also been putting them in a sunnier spot to prevent mold. I now see that this white substance continues to appear on the soil so I was wondering if it was mold or mineral deposits from watering. If it is mold what other solutions are there to prevent further growth?
Does this discoloration on my Alocasia mean I have a light situation? Like it got burned or something? Itâs under a grow light because the room itâs in faces the north. Iâm starting to think I may get grow bulbs for the recessed lights in the living room.
Why is this happening?
How do you repot an orchid? right now its in a plastic pot,but I want in in a purple glass pot.
Does anyone know how to prevent gnats from going near plants?
Multiple questions here. 1.I first posted about my princesses excessive crying, but I found this âwater blisterâ today. Is this just too much water? I waited 12days between waterings. Im losing leaves pretty fast.. all are too wet.. but I even used a hygrometer when it read 2 âdryâ. Or is this maybe a disease? 2. I added grow lights to try to speed up the plants ability to dry the soil, because I initially thought it was taking too long for the plant to dry out and thatâs what was hurting the leaves. The final picture are my new leaves.. theyâre kind of brown.. definitely not green.. do they get greener with age or is something just horribly wrong with my plant? 3. Can philodendron handle getting super dry? Should I wait till itâs down to a 1? I donât know whatâs wrong with this little plant but sheâs def being a princess
