Itā€™s watering day and I just noticed mold (?) on my plant. Iā€™m going to replace the dirt but how do I avoid this next time.

    Try mixing a bit of vermiculite in the top layer of the soil to aerate!

    bottom water more often and cinnamon! (yes, on the top layer of the dirt) good luck! also, do a little investigating but typically no need to get rid of all of the dirt, just scoop out the molding patch if itā€™s only the top layer.

    water less often and replace the soil with a well draining mix, especially for succulents. more airflow will also help
