My summer squash zucchini plant is not growing at all. I have two one transplanted and the other I. Ground and I don’t know why. It gets sun for a majority of the day at least over 6-8 hours. I water everyday. The one on the right is the transplanted one. I planted it in early May

Hello all. Hoping someone can help. The first pic is the African violet before I joined Planta. I looked up how to care for it. Apparently, I wasn’t providing the right care (it sat in water in the tray, wasn’t close to a window, didn’t fertilize it). However, the plant looked healthy but didn’t flower. I started following the guidelines in Planta - stopped letting it sit in water, followed the watering schedule which let it dry between waterings, moved it near a window and added fertilizer. The second pic shows what happened. It now has new growth but all the other leaves are wilting, fading and some are dying. Does anyone know what might be causing the issue and what to do to get the plant back on track? Many thanks in advance.

Hoping someone can help and tell me what might be wrong with my English Lavender. Just planted it about 2 weeks ago in-ground in my front yard. I’m new at growing Lavender. Not sure if it’s too hot and I’m either overwatering or under watering. I’m in Zone 1Ob South Florida so our summers are hot. Soil is sanding but I amended it with in-ground potting soil. It was doing well but noticed the bottom part of the plant turning brown.

This my avocado I’m growing and I’ve had him for awhile but all his old leaves dry up immediately after new ones come in and the new ones are drying up now to I’m not sure what the problem is. There aren’t any pests as everything has been properly cleaned.

Will this propagate or is it not going to survive? It’s a Calathea orbifolia and it broke off while repotting (also has thrips but by this point I doubt any have survived).

Weird Leaf on my Monstera I noticed a few weeks ago or so now, that theres One leaf on my large monstera that is discolored, seems to have pest damage, and actually has a few dead fruitflies (might not be, but its my best guess) on it. I haven't noticed any pests this whole season, and no other plants, or even parts of this monstera seem to be effected. Thoughts and tips?

Any tips on this situation? My dieffenbachia has a leaf that is stuck inside a leaf that is stuck inside the stem. I’ve misted it, it’s got plenty of humidity and I’ve tried to help it along a little with a q-tip but I feel like if I force it any more it will break. It’s been a while that it’s been struggling here.

My husband brought me home two little Willow trees from the clearance rack at the grocery store. (We both always check and he's under strict orders to always grab the plants there. Lol). They just look a little off to me. The leaves seem to be whitish and some are drying up. Is that normal? I know I need to move them into a bigger pot or put them in the ground but I just haven't gotten to it yet.

Hi can someone please help me identify these pests? They’re ALL over my plant cabinet. This is my first non fungus gnat infestation and I’m not sure.

recently acquired this lovely big pot of mint 💚 I don’t have a garden so am going to have to keep her indoors, but looking online it says they need a lot of direct sunlight, and so I’m not sure if she’ll survive. I can’t fit her on a window because the pot is too big for all my windowsills, but I’ve put her as close as possible to this south/west facing window in my kitchen (pictured) planta is suggesting I water her almost daily, but the soil is definitely retaining a lot of water & is quite damp already. I really don’t want to kill her & ideally want to keep the mint supply up so I can use it for cooking! any tips? thanks in advance!! xx

This is Carlita 🩷. I got her from Walmart about a month ago and it said she was periwinkle. I keep her on my porch with my other plants and the last week she’s started fading around the edges and I have seen two small holes on her leaves. I’m wondering could this be from pests or am I not meeting her light needs.

*sorry about the pic quality* Hi everyone! My Avocado is being dramatic! She has been doing amazingly so far and I've been chopping her back to encourage newer and bushier growth which has been going well however all of a sudden this morning I noticed a couple of newer leaves looking like this. Almost like theyre soggy.. The leaves with dry ends I'm aware are just down to me not giving her a drink in time in the past but she always replaces them once I realise however these are the opposite. I haven't changed her watering schedule and still stick to making sure I check her soil before giving her any more. She gets a liquid feed now and then during the summer (if you can call it summer in Scotland) and she is in a well draining perlite mix to avoid root rot. She's currently in our kitchen window which provides part sun and shade with small amounts of full sun in the morning if we get good weather. Our plants seem to love the kitchen thanks to the steam from cooking. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
