Hi I was wondering if someone could please help me, I feel like I’m being paranoid with my SOP. I seen some webbing on one of them but then after moving it around a “regular” spider crawled out, but now I feel like I’m seeing scale and I need help figuring out if that’s what I’m seeing or not. Again I may just be paranoid now because I thought it has spider mites.😵💫😮

help! I had some sun damage to my Christmas cactus when it was outside for summer and just recently this branch fell off the plant. Is this something deeper than just a dead branch? The plant is growing plenty of green new leaves with no issue otherwise.
This calathea vittata had spider mites that I got rid of two weeks ago. I’ve cut most of the leaves on it because they were extremely dry and curled. Currently I have the plant by a humidifier in hopes that the remaining leaves will uncurl. Is there anything else I can do to save the plant? (I included a before and after pic of the plant)
I bought this variegated Burle Marx cutting back in February. The roots have grown over the months and the plant is super healthy but there have been no signs of new growth. Does anyone know if this is one of those spent notes? Should I cut off the leaf to encourage new growth?
Hey everyone! So I know something is off with my basil because the leaves are discolored and the stems are becoming brown and woody. Any ideas on problems/solutions?
Should I trim the dry brittle tips of this birdsnest fern?
Stealing and rescuing this orchid from my work office, but idk what all these colors and such are… is she able to be saved?
Anyone know why these spots are appearing on my flf?
It’s been a while since I noticed that my fern just stopped growing. I’ve kept an eye and noticed that it has little tiny white bugs, I treated the plant with a white oil soap, and then they showed up again, they don’t look like mealybugs. Do you have any recommendations? Have you experienced the same issue?
HELP!!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY TOMATOES?? I suspect over watering
We had heavy rain our area for the last couple of weeks. The weather has cleared out. But this lady is in distress. She used to be plump and all flowery and now it seems everything is wilting. What can i do to make her feel better? Any suggestions please?
Hello ! This is my friend’s pilea which like they said is drooping and seems to have some discolouration, does anyone know what might be up with it? They told me that they water it every 7 days and it is placed in a windowsill that gets direct sunlight in the mornings. The only thing i can think that might be wrong is that maybe it needs repotting, but i’m not really sure 😅 any help is appreciated, thank you!!
I feel like all I think about is fungus gnats these days. We’ve had an infestation since June, due to moving house next to a pretty swampy park. I wanted to share what I’m doing that’s worked (and what didn’t) and see if anyone has any novel ideas… it’s all out war at this point. What’s worked and didn’t work, in order of how many gnats they have killed, from least to most: - Kill count: low (do not recommend): 1) Nematodes. People rave about these but mine didn’t work well. I’m not sure why tbh, tried twice and didn’t see any difference. 2) Neem oil spray. Very annoying to use, screwed up my lovely mister. Gnats didn’t care. - Kill count: nil (do not recommend): 1) Hanging Citronella pods. Found a gnat chilling out on top of one. 2) Hope and prayer. They do not go away. - Kill count: medium (meh) 1) Apple cider vinegar, sugar & dish soap mix. This killed approx 30 over the course of 24 hours. But then I dropped it on the way to the sink. Yuck. - Kill count: not measurable (but recommend): 1) Mosquito bits and mosquito dunks - can’t tell how effective they are in real numbers but I have noticed a dramatic education in how many gnats “hang out” at the soil surface. 2) Repotting everything into an airier soil mix and into terracotta pots. Yes, I am watering them far more often and it’s annoying, but I’ve gotten used to it! It has reduced the amount of moisture hanging around in the plants. - Kill count: high (strongly recommend): 1) Sticky yellow fly traps. These get about 50-70 p/day. Not all though, crucially, which leads to… 2) A fly swatter. I now have one in every room and at the hight of the infestation I killed 128 gnats in one day. Which is insane. I did patrols every hour and they just kept appearing. Now down to approx 20 p/day, which are visibly juvenile so, progress! Overall, my secret sauce seems to be mosquito bits, sticky yellow fly traps and a rigorous regime of swatting.
Anyone know what I can do for my friend? Not sure if it's getting too much light or not enough. I leave the blinds cracked during the day so they get a little peak of light and I water once a week. I even tried leaving the blinds closed and it got worse. Not sure what it needs!!
Hi guys! I was wondering if you could suggest anything to make my bamboo ginger feel better. Ever since I’ve moved to a new place it has been sad. Some leaves got dry, some are curling up 🥲 It does have new leaves tho, but I’m concerned about the rest of it. Please help 🥺
So for these two plants , caladiums and dark leaf Colocasia’s, does anybody have care tips? Mine constantly drop leaves and droop and lose color and I can’t figure out why. I believe with the black magic it may be a watering issue , but for the caladiums I’m not sure! Let me know your thoughts :)
Hi everyone! I was hoping I can get some help with how to help my bb Artemis. I just watered her two days ago. Photo below;
Hi! Sooo I didn’t get pictures because I panicked but my mom is currently in the icu so I’m trying to take care of her plants for her. I went to clean up her palm and notice afterwards loads of tiny white bugs in the soil so i immediately sprayed with neems oil and put some mosquito bits but in the morning I figure it’d be best to repot and salvage what I can I just don’t know how to tell my mom….
I don’t know if anyone can see these tiny little bugs in the soil… But what are they? Are they harmful to my plant? My plant seems healthy. They don’t seem to be able to jump or fly.
Recently chopped this philo melanochrysum to prop and without thinking i put it back in my cabinet (usually 80ish % humidity) and this happened… is it fine, should i cut it back a little and let it callous..?! Note: the plant is currently out of the cabinet, was going to leave it out for a few days to see if that helps
