Hi plant people! Just found a whole lot of mold growing on my African violet. Going to repot her this evening - would really appreciate any tips. I'm planning to change the soil, wash the pot and the roots of the plant, spray the roots and base with a hydrogen peroxide solution and hope for the best. Any recommendations? Thank you!

I just repotted these two plants a few days ago and the pH is low. Around 3 to 3.5 depending on the soil depth. I used indoor plant soil I bought from my local nursery. All my other plants are showing normal pH levels so I don’t think it’s my water. Is this normal when repotting plants? Will the pH rise on its own over time?

I’ve had this plant for a few months and can’t get it to thrive…any suggestions?

I have a moon cactus I put on my shelf, not realizing it didn’t have as much sun light, so it started wilting. I put it on the sun light a couple days ago, and now it is worse. I watered it hoping it would help, but it did not. The picture is before I put it in the window, it is much worse now.

whats going on with these leaves? pests ? or just a cosmetic issue?

I have had this beautiful Chinese evergreen for 10years & came home to the top piece broke off 😞. I guess I did not have enough support for the big branch! Im wondering on if I can save the top portion? I put it in water as pic shows but not sure if this will grow roots? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all 💜

White 👸🏻 philondendron help please! What could be causing a few of the leaves to turn brown? She’s pretty much thriving, popping out new leaves all the time, but I’m concerned about these leaves browning in big patches. I checked the bottom of the pot to see if I need to repot (nope), roots are OK. No insects or bugs. I’ve seen some of her older leaves turn brown before, one at a time. This is the first time a few of them have large brown patches. Appreciate any help or tips! 🪴 thank you!!

Help! Aloe has these random brown/black spot across a few leaves… they don’t seem to be rotting just surface level spots. Anyone know what they are? Checked for pests and found nothing already.

Any suggestions on how to effectively and safely sterilize plant pots (plastic, terracotta, glass, ceramic, etc) after a pest or rot problem? For example, I lost a fairy castle cactus to scale but want to reuse the terracotta pot.

I bought this gloriosum totally rootbound at a box store. Replanted him and he looks so sad. Is he just pouting because of the change? He’s in aroid soil…east facing window and gets a bit of light from a grow light across the room

Hello everyone! A few months ago a family member gifted me this beautiful cactus from a plant shop however I’ve noticed the leaves have turned an orange and a few have died. I’m not sure where to start as I am new in plant care and I really want to keep my cactus alive since the original owner said it’s about 20 years old. Can someone Possibly Help Identify what this is on my foliage? Small Dots popped up on my ferns/moss/wood/rock & im pretty sure it was an actual spider from When i bought this But i Killed it recently not gonna lie (literally yesterday) 😬 it next to the rock where theres a whole/missing moss- kept A web Between And Theres a whole in the soil now. I kept seeing a web and Got tierd of it. Maybe Spider mites? i Read that You cant see A spider mite With bare eyes but can see the White eggs from them? I Have sprayed it down with neem oil a couple times but i ran out so i was just gonna clean the foliage off & Get neem oil Tomorrow. Noticed it because where it was at is slowly making my Plants get Crispy and Dry at the ends… might Repot it and change out the soil Because it stays wet to long- greenhouse Soil and I will eventually change it to my own soil mix. Got this maybe 2-3 weeks ago.

How to be sure I have thrips? I haven’t with 100% certainty seen adults but I’m seeing some signs of pest consistent with thrips on my plants. I just wanna be sure I likely actually have them before I start going crazy with treatment plans.

I was given this plant to revive and not sure where to start! It was my grandmas and she’s going through a lot right now and hasn’t been able to keep up with her plants. This guys been living in her garage since July! Any tips are GREATLY appreciated I’m really bad at keeping this type of plant thriving. I would love to revive this guy and gifted it back to her ☺️☺️
