Hey! This is my second time posting regarding my rubber plant. I overwatered it about a month ago and most said to just let it dry out and then wait a while to water it. I did that, but the leaves have just been getting droopier and falling off. I took it out of the pot to examine the roots, but they look fine. Please can anyone tell me what they may think is wrong with it? I spent so much money on this plant and I really want it to work out. 😭

My mom sent me this plant from 1800 Flowers. The last time this happened they all died from the cold. (My January birthday does not coincide with plants. 😂) I wanted to repot it to get it into warmer and less saturated soil, so I popped it out and… it doesn’t have roots? I read money trees have shallow roots, but this seems like NO roots. What should I do? Is it already a goner? Should I root it in water? Repot it?

Looking for some help/suggestions: I’m trying to propagate this Prayer Plant but it’s not looking so hot. Any suggestions to help it along, or is it beyond saving? Or am I just doing this all wrong? Trying so hard to make this work, any help would be SO much appreciated, TIA!!

I have had this peace lily plant for over two years and recently the big leaves have started dying off and most tips are brown. Location has been the same for about a year since we moved in our new house. I follow schedule and it’s near window but not heavy direct sunlight. It’s from my father in law’s funeral and I don’t want to lose it. Help please!

Hello everyone I recently just got this Xanthosoma Albo Marginata 'Mickey Mouse' plant two weeks ago. It was doing great I followed all the usual steps I take when getting a new plant such as checking for bugs, rot etc… but I checked it today and the stem is bent down, one stem was yellowing so I removed it. Not sure what this plant needs, it has a good root system and no bugs/mites. I read online that the plant prefers to stay semi moist but, obviously not soaking. It has had been under full spectrum light and gets at least 8 hours or more a day. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Any advice would be great!! Thanks in advance.

Hello, planty people! I have 2 large plants that honestly scare me when it comes to watering. Does anyone have any tips for how to keep large plants properly watered and avoiding rot? Do you use a moisture meter or one of those automatic watering bulbs? Thank you in advance for any advice! P.s. please ignore the state of the dracaena. She's had a troubled past but is making a comeback.

Winter aphids have entered the chat! They occupied 2 of the 6 peduncles on this plant. I used the fire hose treatment and knocked them off with a cruel high pressure spray of the garden hose. I followed up with a rubbing alcohol spritz for the ones I might have missed. Update: Ladybugs, nature’s pesticide!😂 I found the ladybug feasting on the aphids I missed.

My money tree is dropping lots of leaves after having a really good growth spurt. I’m not sure if it’s the temperature drop here in Houston or something else. Please send help! She was thriving just a few weeks ago (nighttime photo is her a month ago.

Hi there! I was looking for some advice on how to help my lucky bamboo. He is my only plant and I love him so much, I got him from Pride-fest a few years ago and he’s stayed pretty much the same size with barely any growth… but he’s not dying, just rather content I hope to think. He lives in a small water jar that he came in with crystals at the bottom (I’m too fearful of killing him to try and remove them) near a window for sun. Today I noticed he very badly needed water and had a brown tip on his leaf. I took to Reddit and trimmed the tip just below the brown tip, watered him (purified drinking water) and wiped each of his leaves with a wet paper towel. Does anyone have any advice or tips for how to help him? Here’s a picture of before I trimmed but after I watered and one of where he usually sits afterward.

Hey guys, nothing is wrong but what happens if you on accident know you over water your plant And is there anything I should do?

AlyssaMonkey

Oh boy, this looks scary so I’m afraid to disturb it before I know what it could be. It’s bright chalk-yellow mold. Lots of dots and a white floof beginning on top of it.

Alright… is it toast? Does my money tree have any chance? I’ve never had success with propagating it before 😢 It was having a rough go; early on the other trunks had root rot which is why I have that Frankenstein tin foil situation going on, but it recovered pretty well from that. More recently, I am pretty sure it had spider mites which was a new thing for me. I think my diluted alcohol treatment was followed by too much light and the leaves got all tissue paper-thin and wilty and sad and most of them died. The remaining few are quite unhappy. What is its best chance for survival?

Please help! My monstera delicious is not doing too good, yellow and soft brown spots and edges. The 2 new leafs have not hardened well and also alot of browning on most leaves (as you can see i chopped bits). I'd bought it end of October and a month ago noticed more brown spots. The draining pot is a good size for the root balls (3 plants) and the soil seems very loose... i'd treated it for pests with a mixture and showered a few times and i cant see any 🤷‍♀️ thanks guys!
