Looking for some help/suggestions: I’m trying to propagate this Prayer Plant but it’s not looking so hot. Any suggestions to help it along, or is it beyond saving? Or am I just doing this all wrong? Trying so hard to make this work, any help would be SO much appreciated, TIA!!

3 Mi piaceIt needs a node to propagate, so if it’s just the leaf and the stem it will die off
4 Mi piace Ooops, it had started looking a little sad, so I cut it from the main plant and put it in water. No node- guess it’s a bust. I’ll be putting it back into the earth, where the plants that have passed on go 😢
0 Mi piaceJust reiterating what others have already said. I put a cutting *with a node* into water back in Oct ‘24. The other picture was taken this month, Jan ‘25. Per Planta community suggestions, I’ve slowly added soil to the water and sometimes a little liquid fertiziler. Inspiration to try again :)
