Bought this Air Plant (bulbous plant) from the Philadelphia flower show this past week. I was told it needs to be watered once a week. The roots don’t look too good now that I’m taking a closer look. Does anyone have experience with this plant. Is it sick? Should I pot this?

Hello, I am brand new to umbrella plants (this is my first time even seeing one) and found these black mounds on the stem. They don’t come off when I rub them, if anyone could tell me if this is a problem or just a normal umbrella thing. I am aware it needs repotting, I want it to acclimate first.

I've got these guys in the bottom of my terracotta of my false shamrock. Wondering if they're maybe just springtails? I've just been putting a bit of mouth wash and then washing them down the drain. I imagine I'd have to repot to remove them but I'm horrified at the idea of these crawling all over when I repot (I'm a wuss about bugs)

Hi my mother recently gave me a plant she was hoping I could rehab for her. I have it quarantined and it has these moth things coming out from the soil, nothing on the leaves. I’m unsure if whiteflies or just moths??

I have had these little plants with no problems for about 3 years, in various locations throughout my house. All are starting to get these brown leaves and not sure why

Is this physical damage or something about my conditions? This leaf started to unfurl today only to reveal it snapped at the stem :( My room stays at 55-60% humidity and this plants about a foot away from a grow light, chunky soil watered roughly every 6 days or when mostly dried out. Philodendron Melanochrysum

Hi there 🌿 Just came back from a holiday break and discovered my aloe plant looking horrible. It was thriving before, just a week ago. I am trying to understand what happened - is it under watering? Is it cold damage (although it wasn’t that cold recently)? Can it be saved at this state? 😢 Many thanks šŸ™

Help! My partner hasn’t repotted this yucca for over four years! I’ve finally convinced him. It was in a 19cm terracotta pot which we had to smash open with a hammer because the plant was so stuck! As you can see from the photos it is severely root bound. We tried soaking it in lukewarm water to help loosen it up, but it didn’t help. We aren’t sure how best to help it because we need to sort the roots out before we can repot it. Can anyone offer any advice on how we deal with roots as bad as this? Thanks! :)

What’s wrong with my plant? I’ve had this Joshua plant for a little over a year now, I’ve struggled with preventing the fuzzy off-white fungus which seems to be growing on its leaves, and now it’s gotten quite sad with many leaves turning yellow/brown and spotting. There does seem to be quite a bit of new growth as well though too. Every time I water it, it seems to get upset, so I’ve hardly been watering it (going like 2 months without watering). When I was watering it more regularly it was not any better, and the leaf fungus was worse. Not sure how to best go about caring for this plant.

The Planta App is instructing me to repot every one of my 30 plus plants today. My plants are all different sizes and ages. Is this a mistake by Planta?

Is it okay that my one flower has completely fallen over?

Is my thyme leggy? I have moved the light closer to it, but I want to know everything I can do to ensure it grows as best as possible. Also, when should I consider repotting it, and into what kind of pot? Thank you!

THE LITTLE WHITE DOTS ARE BENEFICIAL INSECTS THAT I JUST DEPOSITED. but I’m wondering if the damage looks like it’s from pests or bacteria?? I have this guy in semi-hydro under a grow light for 12 hours per day. There’s a humidifier in the room. What is the damage from you think?

Anyone know what would eat across the top of my elephant ears like this? Assuming it’s a pest. Ty!
