Thank you all for previous advice to check money trees for tape or bands on the roots. I have been struggling with a money tree for over a year. I finally repotted today and found a thick tape band wrapped around the root area. Three stems had root rot and were mushy which I removed. Thankfully it had what appear to be two healthy stems with leaves remaining. I cleaned those roots with water and peroxide and repotted them in a much smaller pot. Now we wait. I would have never known to check if I had not seen the comment posted here.

I am brand new to plants and 2 days ago bought this global green Pothos. It seemed in great condition until now because some of the leaves are drooping and a few brown spots have appeared. Is it a problem with watering? Too much sunlight? Help would be appreciated 😅

I recently got a lavender and repotted it into a pot without drainage holes (Ik, not great idea). She ended up getting left in the rain a couple times and looked to be drowning.. I just repotted her into a pot with drainage holes, but the base of the plant isn’t looking great and neither are the flowers (I’m unsure if the flowering is going through its cycle or not). Any help?

I want to remove these dying leaves how should I do this so that she’s still able to grow more? And is this from over watering?

I just moved my soap aloe to a sunnier spot and now one of his arms looks burned and shriveled. Could this be too much sun? Thanks for any advice! 😊

My Kalanchoe and my Jade both keep getting bugs and I’m not sure how to get rid of them. Please help! I’ve tried spray with water or using a little toothpick to scrape them off. Repotted them. What else can I do?

Hi, I’ve discovered some odd things on a couple of my plants, on one of my hoya there are these black dots and on my money plant there are white dots and milky looking patches, does anyone know what they are?

I’m very new to plants (I made an offhand comment about wanting to have plants and my best friend got me a plant, bless him, but did so without even looking the plant up on google) and I’ve only had this blue star fern a week but now it’s looking very white/pale.
The little information i’ve found says that it might be due to, too little light. It’s been near a south/south east facing window ever since I got it, which gets a decent amount of light all morning and near a humidifier. Can anyone let me know what I’m doing wrong? 😌

i just noticed these little white bits near the leaves of my weeping fig, does anyone know what they are? (second pic) i didnt notice any others, just the two.
i also saw that some of the leaves are getting dry and curling up and some brown spots & holes, and one fell off, does it need more sun? (first pic) the person that gave me the tree said that it needs as much sun as possible but planta said partial sun so its in partial sun right now.
sorry if these are silly questions, im pretty new to plants :)

My pony tail palm is still recovering from my sisters cat, but I’ve noticed the new leaves are bending over as well. Is there a way to fix this? I just give it regular fertilizer, nothing special, maybe it needs a specialized one? I thought this was going to be the kind that curled and is more compact but she’s all out there which is also fine. But I don’t think the leaves folding is normal…or is it?

Hello yall!
This is my step mom’s Shady Lady tree.
Anyone know what’s wrong with it?
It’s in an east facing window and it’s watered once a week.
I think I figured out the problem
She gives it straight tap water and doesn’t fertilize it.
So I told her to leave the water out for a day or so and to pick up some fertilizer.
Anything else they can do?
