Hello I have this oxalis and just recently the leaves have started to go like this… I only bought it 2 weeks ago and I’ve only watered it once. I had it on a kitchen table about 4ft from the French doors, but I’ve moved it to the windowsill now in a north facing garden.

Hey! I have this painted nettle that has really been going downhill lately. It was infested with lice a while ago but I’m 99% sure they’re gone since i havent seen a single bug in months. Despite that, it’s in a pretty sad state. I got this nettle from my best friends 96 year old grandma, and it’s pretty important to me that it survives. Any tips are appreciated! I’ve thought abt repotting, or taking off a ”healthy ish” bit to replant later.

I got a pretty sad looking Philodendron White Knight today… but he seems to have lots of new leaves growing. I’m not entirely sure what to do about the rest of it though. Lots of broken leaves, stems without leaves. What can I do to clean him up a bit? Or should I just leave it and let it do its thing?

My pothos is starting to get a brand new leaf but I noticed this today.. it has popped out a couple other leaves and none of them have this on them The other leaves were like that when I picked it up. Could this be a possible bug issue?

What does the black part on the top of the leaf mean? It’s not crispy. I’m hoping it’s not overwatering but don’t feel it is. I let her go a little longer in the winter, but maybe it’s under watering? Do any pests cause the leaf to turn black?

Orchid in distress!!!! I noticed today that my orchid leaves are cracking at the base and I can’t figure out why. I pulled her out of the pot and some roots that were sticking out are shriveled and dry but some of the ones that were in the pot seem close to root rot (but they don’t smell). I follow misting and watering advice for her pretty well. Planta says overwatering or a light issue but my understanding was orchids crack from under watering and she’s not burned so I am confused. The top leaf is only two-ish months old so I thought she was happy. How can I help her??

Is this stem rot? Philodendron Dean McDowell I had buried two of my leaf stems too deep in error when repotting and they rotted at the base where the soil was. I since moved the plant up on top of the soil but now I am wondering if this is the beginning rot on the base here or if it’s normal? It’s very hard not soft at all Pot has drainage on sides and bottom- in a chunky aroid mix

got the plant as a gift in july 2024, has been kept in a part shade part sun part of the house with some inconsistent watering, plant has slowly died since then.. thinking its due to lack of humidity and lack of water schedule? repotted plant recently and tried to get rid of any root rot i saw, didnt see many healthy white roots.. used a 6inch pot with drainage

Hi guys I’ve been having trouble with my sundew :( I have done nothing different but for some reason it’s turning brown. I use distilled water, I keep it in a bog like environment, and I give it enough sunlight. The roots are fine and the soil is a carnivorous plant mix. Could it be because the weather in California has been so crazy? Some days it’s super cold and other days it’s hot. All my other plants are thriving but this one isn’t. This plant used to have red leaves and produce beautiful dew drops. I’m worried :( help please. I asked the same thing in the carnivorous plant section but I wanna make sure I get a lot of opinions and advice. Thank you!! 😊
