Help. I think I overwatered my alocasia. It’s lost one small leaf already and now the large leaf is dying. I took it out of the pot and there are very few roots left, but what is there seems healthy. I was able to get two corms off to try to propagate.. but my question now is, it’s been repotted into completely dry soil… how long do I wait to water it now? Or do I water it right away?? I really don’t want to kill her. 😩 the lamp in the pic is a grow bulb so she should be getting plenty of light. TIA!

What the heck is happening to my avocado?
This is the second time this has happened with this plant. The most mature leaves have shriveled and dropped suddenly. The plant is growing well and it is water and fertilized regularly (according to Planta’s recommendations). It is under a plant light. I am at a loss as to why it has done this.

What’s this black stuff on my zebra plant leaf? There were three little leaves that just recently fell off the very top of the stem. Should I cut this one off, or should I just let it fall on its own?
I got this plant back in August, when it was already leggy, (I could change him, right?!) and we were doing so well. I also have had off and on fungus gnats as well, which I’m treating with mosquito bit/neem oil watering and sticky traps. I don’t mist the leaves.
My peperomia plant next to it also has all of these dried up triangles in the leaves. Is it a pest?

Just a question, is it safe to add NEEM OIL to water when I’m bottom watering plants?
I spray my plants with neem oil as recommended, but I have a few plants with a rust infection and I don’t think spraying them is cutting it.
Thoughts? Recommendations?

SOS!! Mealy bugs are taking over!!
I brought home fairy plants as indoor plants to start. Discovered mealy bugs on all three. I’ve separated them from the group & treated them with ready to use Neem Oil from Captain Jack. Two seem to be doing well and free of the pests. Third plant died, possibly unrelated to the bugs.
Now it’s been more than a month or two and I haven’t brought the two plants back to the group where I intended them to be.
Just noticed few of the plants in the group (where I first placed the fairy plants) have webbing & what appears to be young mealy bugs.
What should I do to end the infestation!!??!!

Any recommendations on what I can use to get rid of fungus gnats and keep them away? Something that is also non toxic and cat safe.

Can anyone help me figure out what’s going on with my Monstera? He was thriving for the longest time, but now he’s developing these spots on his leaves and his new shoots are looking unhealthy

I kept telling my mom she needed to get that mold out of her fiddle leaf that lives in her sun room. She obviously didnt listen but now got some crazy looking mushrooms coming out of it!

Can this baby be saved!?! I started noticing yellowing leaves and realized that the soil was way too wet, but now I think the soil is way too dry. I can’t seem to find a happy medium yet. I watered it today with distilled water and hope she might bounce back, but is it possibly too late?
When I follow the original watering schedule, it was too damp, I think I let it go too long without watering. Fingers crossed.

Please help me grow my monstera fuller and save my birds of paradise.

Over the summer, my Mandevilla began losing her flowers and leaves without giving me any new growth, and it started staying wet longer than usual. She’s never been repotted, so I suspected that was the issue. To my surprise, my dad found a massive pot & took it upon himself to repot my plant… in garden soil… for in-ground plants. Not seeing the root system myself, I asked how it looked. He said the roots were white, but there was hardly soil left in the bucket. I know he just wanted something to keep busy with and do something nice, but I’m worried.
That’s where you guys come in! Is there any hope for this gem? Should I cut it down? It did recently give me 2 blooms, so it’s still somewhat active. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 💚

Help!! I’ve had my trusty Blue Spruce (named Bruce) for about a year and he had been doing well until recently when he began dropping needles and the top needles are brown. Any advice?? Thanks in advance!!!

SOS!!! This plant as well as one other quickly (within 1 day) developed blackening on the leaves. I know it cannot be root rot as this plant hasn’t been watered recently and perked up after its last watering a little over a week ago. Next watering is in a few days. Also… new growth has appeared as this leaf has blackened?? Any ideas what could be going on?? TIA

Does anyone have any advice about taking care of spider plants? I had about two over the course of 1 year and both died pretty quickly. When I take them to my parents house over the summer they flourish but when I take them back with me to school they die a few months later. Any suggestions?? For extra context my apartment at school doesn’t have a lot of natural light so I mainly use grow lights for my plants. I also put the spider plants around the same area of my other low light plants. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

OVERwatered diagnosis?!
OK, so I have always know a Fiddle is not the ideal plant for my climate/home but I thought that since we got a huge humidifier this year I could take one on…I got this guy from a friend and he looked pretty happy when he got here but has since dropped over 10 leaves and the brown edges have made their way to almost every leaf. The diagnosis AI said overwatered but I have been waiting a week for the top few inches to dry out and it has plenty of drainage and is not sitting in water.
Help! Does anyone else think overwatering is the case? The air vent next to it is always closed and it is in an east facing window. The last photo is of when I brought him home…
