Has anyone successfully kept anthuriums? How do you do it? This is a picture I pulled from my planta graveyard so there’s no saving it but I’d like to prevent another from joining it in the great greenhouse in the sky if I get brave enough to try again.
Hi, still new to this app in general and this is my first orchid that I’ve rescued from a grocery store. Just wondering if the leaves should look like this or if I should do something about it just cause they don’t look terribly healthy. it seems these are the only two leaves affected the others have a little bit of browning on them, but they don’t have the weird spots in the browning of these to do

My mom is growing zucchini in a planter box in the backyard next to the house and started noticing these white dots and now some leaves are browning on the edges. What’s happening? Is the plant able to be saved? Should she cut off the leaves that are browning? Maybe move them somewhere else? Too much watering? Lots of questions haha
Good morning all, I'm freaking out. I thought my maculata was losing leaves because I repotted and put two together. Now I'm pretty sure these little bugs are what are doing it. Can anybody tell me what they are and what I should do about it? Thank you so much in advance 😱
I’m posting this because I was watering and when I was watering, I noticed my hand brush something and it was a little bird down inside my plant. I don’t know what happened to it but it’s just sitting on top of the soil and I don’t know what to do for it. Does anyone recognize what kind of bird this is or have any idea what I can do to help it?
THRIPSSSS Hi! Everyone! I am currently battling thrips on my Monsteras. 😩 Question is, should I cut off the damaged leaves? It hurts to remove them as they’re the newest and biggest leaves I have so far, but will do if must. I’ve already rinsed them, used insecticidal soap, and probably will apply a mixture of alcohol and water, and the neem oil later. Thank you! 🙏🏽

Hi! I had a chopstick in my plant as a stake and noticed these bugs on the portion that was in the soil. Theyre not anywhere on the plant, only on the chopstick that was in the soil. Upon my research these are springtails and soil mites, which are healthy for my plant? Just curious and wanted to ask here! TIA!
Hey guys I just discovered that root rot is actually something you can treat without an intense repotting. There is a strain of Trichroderma H that feeds on the fungus that causes the rhizoctonia and other pathogens that rot your roots. I don’t have any root rot to test these on and I don’t plant on causing some just to find out, but if anybody has root rot and wants to give it a shot, you can find it online as strain 22 in a dry mix you add to your water. I would love to know if this sounds as awesome to everyone else because repotting and wasting all that soil when you accidentally overwater once feels extreme.
Not my plant. But a friend of mine has this beauty in her yard. She’s enjoyed the blooms for years (picture one was from last year) and it started to show off this year too. After a particularly bad storm (we are in north central Arkansas) it started drooping and has not bounced back. The last three photos were taken over the span of about a month. Any advice?
Howdy! Just got a gorgeous rubber plant (my first-ever) from a friend who was moving. It's happily put out new leaves from all 3 stems, but several of the older leaves are tan rather than cream. They aren't crispy, just colored brown. Is this normal behavior for older leaves or is there something I can do to prevent/reverse this? Also, some of the oldest leaves have damage; should I trim them or leave them? Thank y'all so much!
My plants have fungus gnats after repotting about a month ago. I’m treating the soil and using sticky traps, but in my rubber tree I am also seeing these weird long things that move as one but appear to be two bugs attached? Are they mating fungus gnats or what? They are all over the plant pot but also on a window in the room. I’m also fighting off spider mites now too. I blame the damn soil but I’m trying to figure out what all I’m dealing with here.
Yellowing on the dark green of my golden mosaic! its still producing leaves but i dont know what this means and i am concerned. i water when the app tells me, and ph my filtered water to 5.8-6.5.

Can anyone help me identify what’s going on with my Avocado tree? Dr. Planta said it was both overwatering and underwatering…😖 other AI said it was spider mites or Fungus…

Is this mold or something? I bottom water my pot. It’s in pure coco coir, this showed up one day. If it’s bad I want to repot the plant. If not I see no point in stressing it out. Thank you!
