Yellowing on the dark green of my golden mosaic! its still producing leaves but i dont know what this means and i am concerned. i water when the app tells me, and ph my filtered water to 5.8-6.5.

    Try adding some osmocote to the soil if you’re using filtered water it may not be getting enough nutrients. Do you use any dyna-gro or other fertilizer in the water?.. Also… if you have that many fungus gnats you may be watering more than it needs… that could cause the yellowing too… maybe let it dry out a bit more than the app is telling you… could maybe try bottom watering for awhile to stop fungus gnats. Fungus gnats breed in the top 1-2” of wet soil… Also… A plastic nursery pot with drainage holes would be better than a terracotta pot for this plant. Terracotta is better for succulents and aloe, etc.

    planta schedules are infamous for telling you to overwater. every time you water you should be checking the soil. about 2" of the soil should be dry, which is your whole index finger-ish. the snooze button is my favorite button on this app lol

    To prevent overwatering, this app told me to take a chopstick and air rate the soil which I’ve done on all of my plants now and also you can buy moisture indicators on Amazon. There are some different kinds, but they work great so far! Because I also felt the app told me to water way more than I should.
