Hello, I got two hibiscus last year around the same time (maybe a month or two apart) this summer. They seemed to be doing well (lots of new leaves and nice glossy leaves) but now that the seasons are changing Iâve noticed they arenât as happy. They are near a vent but in the summer when cool air would have been blowing on them they were okay so I figured warm air would be too. My bigger one has been getting yellow leaves left and right and is super droopy and sad, the smaller one isnât as bad but is still not at its peak (the smaller one is closer to the vent and only a little higher, although as far as I can tell they are both getting the same amount of sun) Ive never gotten flowers from either but I figured that was just because they are inside and my room is pretty cold, however now that itâs warming up they seem to be doing worse. The picture is of the worse of the two but my camera canât seem to pick up itâs droopiness I guess lol
Does anybody know how to heal plants up that are half frozen? How should I nurse my avocados back to health?
Planta says this is mealy bugs but I also learned it could be mineral deposits. She was under watered for a while. What do you all think? Thanks!
I think the roots are rotting. I gave it too much water without knowing I wasnât suppose to, and thereâs a lot of little fruit fly looking bugs around it. The leaves have been falling and it was drooping. My mom kinda buried it in the soil so it wouldnât droop anymore. Can I fix it? What should I do?
What is happening here? This is the third plant I have thrown out. I have been spraying with Arber, watering with rain water. Itâs hanging on the lani plenty of Florida humidity. Please help!
Help! I re-potted a coworkers jade. One of the jade shoots had a small amount of root rot- all the other roots were healthy. I looked okay for about 3 days and then over the 4 days in the office with no light it looks like this. How can I save her??
Hello My pothos is looking this way. Kinda droopy leaves. I added more water. I have them a little further away from the light. Any ideas? Thanks
Hello It seems like my Monstera Adansonii is struggling. It has been this way since I got it. Anyone know what I can do to avoid the brown leaves? Anything else I should be doing so it grows bigger and fuller? I live in Missouri so it's not as humid at the moment.
Does anyone have suggestions for all natural fungus gnat repellents? Iâm very used a pest spray with peppermint oil and food grade diatomaceous earth powder. They both work for a bit, but then I notice them flying around within a day or two.
Anyone with insight into the brown spot on my momâs thai? itâs, soft, not crispy. We found 2 thais for sale at the grocery store- mine is growing (that said, i have it right on the window sill) but herâs isnât and recently developed this spot.
What's wrong with my Coleus? The base of the stem started yellowing a few days ago and is slowly spreading across the plant, also the leaves have been turning crispy and then they fall off.
Hey hey! Iâd love some pink princess lovers to help me get to the bottom of what my plant is trying to tell me. It appears to me that her leaves are a little faded, possibly sun burnt from keeping her on my east-facing window all summer? She also has dry spots all over her leaves, which based on past experience with other philodendrons, suggests that she needs more moisture. Sheâs currently under a grow light with a humidifier a foot away. Anything else Iâm missing, or any conflicting insights from yalls experience?
Whatâs wrong with my orchid?
Guys please help me, my peace lilly is not looking too good I dont know what it is that looks bad but something looks off. Then, I noticed one of my Lillies had this stuff on it. Is my plant dieing???
My black velvet alochasia has 3 leaves with a new one coming out. 2 older leaves turned down but are still firm not frail or easy to bend. Both have these spots on them. Not getting bigger but darkening like the area is dead⊠thoughts? Should I cut leaves off? I just repotted 2 days ago in a pon mix to make semi hydro. Roots looked good
Hello plant people: Expert advice needed. I have had a Ficus Benjamina for about 5 years, potted up this past summer from a 10 inch terracotta pot to a 12 inch ceramic pot. Watering is different in the ceramic pot but it is shooting out new growth as if it really really likes its new home. But I noticed these spots. Can anyone tell me what this is? I absolutely adore this tree. Please help. Thank you đđ
Recently saved this guy from complete root loss so I knew that the leaves would slowly die off. Iâm worried about these leaves on the stem though. I would cut them off, but I donât want the stem to die.
Does anyone know what happened to my Alocasia Melo? Is this a bacteria/fungus infection? đ„Čđ„Čđ„Čđ„Čđ„Čđ„Č
So I got this diffenbachia a few weeks ago and it was doing great when I got it. I had it in a low/moderate light room but it seemed to be struggling with a lot of leaves turning yellow and dying so I moved it to a room with my other plants with plant lights. Leaves still keep dying and wilting up and turning yellow. The soil isnât overwatered and there is drainage if needed. I checked the roots and broke them up because Iâve had plants die from roots balling up. Is there any bringing this plant back or anything anyone recommends?? Any feedback welcome and appreciated.
